Morris & Minor Or Suggs & Cobbs

Hello Brother FFIC!!

I think Minor's special teams play keeps him on the squad and Cobbs developes on the PS.
Hey Bro, how is life treating you? The reason I bring this up is Suggs can play special teams, and cobbs has a nice carry avg. He wants to make our 53 man roster, and with Morris on suspension if Suggs, and Cobbs make great strides in camp, does Nick make the old National league double switch?

it'll be back to the R&R express next season.
Never know. If these guys can show they have game, and spell Ronnie, and give some speed and mis-matches you never know. We can never have enough quality running backs.

Cobbs was added to the practice squad today. Here is my question. The word is Suggs has passed Minor for the number 2 job already. Does Nick & Staff keep Morris and Minor or do they go with youth in Suggs and Cobbs?

yo wat up fin fan in cali hey I think they shold go with suggs and Minor
cobbs is brand new so he doesnt know the system yet but once he does I thinks so suggs and cobbs

I would Saban would keep Morris and Minor for ST reasons and Morris is not a bad veteran backup. Cobb's just practice squad fodder. Wouldn't be too good to field a RB lineup with no veteran presence.

What up bro? I have done reading and CK could verify more, but the kid Cobbs has got some good potential. I know Minor can play special teams as well as RB, but he has been here a while and has never stepped out and shined.

Life is good! Enjoying this awesome SoCal weather! I read ElNino is back so looks like another wet winter...the closest thing we get to staying in and eating chili on Sunday weather!

I saw Cobbs tear it up a couple times in preseason and was surprised he was traded. It is a tough call. I worry about Suggs' durability and Minor is too valuable on special teams...I guess I am saying HELL, I HAVE NO IDEA!!! :sidelol: :sidelol:

Brown will split time time with both Suggs and Morris, but then next year it will be the R&R Express.

Suggs spent the last couple of years with Cleveland. Question for you. How much more time does Minor and Morris have with this team? One more, have they reached there utmost potential with the team?

I am just asking could these two younger running backs be a step up in the future?

:sidelol: I am just throwing these question up to the family to see what they think. It will get interesting especially if they step up there play in practices, and can play special teams. I know Suggs can, not sure on Cobbs though.:D

I was responding and my mind kept going back to the childhood quagmire..."If you had to choose between your..." questions.

I know I keep going back to special teams, I'll take your word on Suggs' ST play so that MAY spell the end of Minor ESPECIALLY if Cobbs can contribute there and back up Wes returning kicks.
