My thoughts on this is this:
I don't think anyone is safe.
I think Bullygate is a greater reflection on Philbin than Ireland. Philbin got rid of the "leaders" in the locker room and exposed Martin to Incognitos weirdness.
Reports are that Ross couldn't even watch the end of the game Sunday he was so embarrassed. Who doesn't love stability and loyalty, but lets be real. A catastrophic implosion just happened. So hear Mort Sherlock, changes will be happening.
I don't think anyone is cleaning out anything because no one has been told anything yet.
I expect Philbin to sit down with his advisors. and mull over everything that was said. That business partner who sat in on the meetings is likely going over the conversations and Ross is coming to his own independent conclusions with people who have no ties to Ireland or Philbin. As mentioned a few times on twitter, Ross needs to have a plan in place if he gets rid of Ireland, Philbin, or both. I just can't see him making a sudden move without having some bases covered.
It would not surprise me if nothing happened. But to me it would only mean they better not get comfortable. They were 1 win from the playoffs. None of us anticipated this team not being able to win one game between the Bills and Jets. I'm certain Ross didn't see it coming either.
I think we should take every reporters reports with a grain of salt. we've been down this road before. A few times now Let the reports add to the debate, but let's not take any as fact until the team releases an actual statement.
