He is doing a chat right now, and while it isn't any inside knowledge, he thinks Philbin might be the favorite going into the second round, but that McCoy caught their attention. One common theme though amongst the media is that no one thinks Bowles will get it.

I think Philbin may be the favorite for the Dolphins job though it's clear Mike McCoy captured their attention. On Winston Moss, I don't know who Philbin would want. Moss is a leading candidate for the HC job in Oaklad.

Let's go Philbin! Need some of that GB mentality in Miami.. I'm thinking Friday will be the day.

Key words here being "I think". He has nothing solid on this assumption so lets not get ahead of ourselves like we did with Fisher and Zimmer.

Not a fan of Mort but I believe it will be Philbin and Bowles is only getting a courtesy interview maybe in the hopes he will stay on as DC.

If it is Philbin I like the QB friendly system he will install and the connection to Green Bay. But Mort knows nothing more then any of us do.

Ya im on bored with philbin. Very interesting what his staff would look like... Im assuming if philbin does get the job daboll is likely out... Wich means philbin could bring in his own OC and DC......

Are you guys not seeing the obvious here? Philbin the favorite but don't count out McCoy? Everyone knows Bowles is the longshot so Mort is just covering his butt and when the guy gets picked, Philbin or McCoy, he can say I told you so.

I think McCoy fits the young Shula comment a lot more then Philbin, you have to figure Ross will eventually say something and follow through at some point don't you?

Personally I'd be happier with Philbin and then hopefully he would bring in Clements to OC. Then we will all find out what they think of Flynn when FA starts.

But I still think McCoy gets the job.

i still say its bowles. that line about "One common theme though amongst the media is that no one thinks Bowles will get it" seeled it.

seems like whenever something like that is said about miami, thats what happens.

PHILBIN? with all this bowles scare he looks damn good to me right now. i like him not because we will be green bay or the he will bring the mighty flynn with him nonsense, but the fact we will FINALLY get the west coast offense in here like i have wanted for YEARS!!

moore, marshall and bush will excell in that system. that makes me excited and........ahhhh, what the heck am i even saying.

bowles is getting this job, it doesnt matter.

I like the fact that McCoy is only 39 and was able to implement big changes to accommodate Tebow. Like Sanchez led to Schotty leaving NY, McCoy is being judged by some on the play of inept QBs.

THERE IS ONLY ONE FREAKIN DON SHULA! What part of McCoy even remotely resembles Don Shula? Is it the 3 winning seasons in his 12 year career? Could it be that every unit he's coached in his career has gotten worse production then before he was coaching it? Could it be that he was 1-4 with Kyle Orton running a conventional offense but by pure freakin luck and chance went 7-4 with Tebow who completed 46% of his passes while the defense played lights out and carried that team along with the running game? Where are the similarities?
