Mortensen: Dolphins and Redskins will compete for Manning, Griffin

I think the reason RG3 is on the list is because behind Ross eyes, thoughts and vision, according to the hype and all that baloney, the 100% guarantee for franchise QB in his mind is, Luck, Manning, and RG3, the rest are projects with questions marks that have zero hype machine or seat fillers.

I am honestly down with either of the 2 only because I think he finally knows going all in for the BEST guy is the best route as opposed to the 2nd tier guys.

To me, weeden is a 1st tier QB but his age wil put them off big time.

I think RG3 is worth it for him because it will fill seats, in his eyes he is a sure fire Franchise QB b/c of the money he will bring, generate, seats will fill, and is a heisman winner and a top 3 player. I am not surprised one bit and do I care if they do this? honestly, for once I will say no just because I am tired of the same trend of playing it safe. If it was Barkely i am 100203423423432 % in, with RG3 I am like 75% but hey, what the heck, say **** it, roll the dices and let this ***** ride !

better than watching the same trend of has beens.

Or going with the trend of "never was" Quarterbacks...

Manning is a just year older than Tom Brady, if he is healthy he can play 3 years, maaaybe 4.

They can sign him and still draft a young QB. It's not like your giving up picks for Manning.

I think the Fins sign Flynn when all is said and done. I believe the reports from the Herald is smokescreen.

Give Cleveland next years #1 and year after and anything else they think they need aside from 2nd rounders to give it up to us instead of redskins.

Its worth it at this time.

Manning does nothing longterm for this franchise. Its the same approach with some expected marginal success.

I would draft RG3 and let him and Moore battle it out.

The combine will weed out certain prospects, Tannehill one of them.

If you take RGIII at 2, he better beat out Moore the first week of camp. If not, you have badly misjudged the 2nd overall pick of the draft.

I thnk a swap of 1st, next years 1st, (remember we should have a high pick next year because of schedule and potential QB), and a 3rd this year.

I'd use that 2nd on a TE if we don't get the likes of Finley in FA, if so, I'd take a OG/RT depending on FA approach.

you can easily fix this team ith this system, OG/RT in FA and draft, QB in RG3, TE in FA or draft, S in FA.

Our only holes would be CB depth but i'd retain allen and hope wilson improves and you should be set with 1 possible burner at WR ala Meachem.

Only recently have QB's in the 1st rd been expected to start immediately. With that said, I don't think its a contest. RG>MM and RG>BQ and RG>KO. I think I covered my bases.

Unlike some here, I know the pitfalls of starting a rookie. And will be content allowing that QB to mature on the field. Growing pains and all. Something they should have done with Henne in 08.

If this were true, the Colts wouldn't be letting him go for NOTHING.

All these rumors and smokescreens watch us not pick up QB until the 2nd round again, and watch this board go nucking futs.
