Chris Mortensen told Jesse Agler of the Finsiders that Peyton thinks the Dolphins have a lot of talent and wants to play in a warm weather city. Also said he is throwing the ball much better than has been reported and should be ready to rock this season.
 
So if Peyton is commenting on considerations for a new team, why is he still a colt, MORT ? He wants to play in a warm weather city, eh ? Let's see if he can play at all.......... before he starts picking the venue.
 
I'm all for him if he can throw. I still want to take a qb to groom behind him, or better yet, figure out a way to stockpile picks for matt barkley next season. cuz if we have peyton we are winning too many games to have a shot at barkley otherwise.
 
I'm torn about trading up for RG3 or staying put and drafting a monster pass rusher or trading down.....If Richardson some how falls to us we can get Cincinnati's 17th pick and their 2nd round pick which would give us 2 picks in the second where we can then flip one for a 1st next year if a player is there that another teams really wants....So much can happen its crazy...everything depends of course if we sign Flynn or Manning but I've never been so anxious about an off season...ever....can't even imagine what Ireland feels like....whatever happens I just hope we improve next year and hopefully we don't get screwed with our picks..
 
People that dont want Manning should shoot themselves. I really f-ing hope we get thsi guy. If anyone is worth taking a risk on its Petyon Manning!!!

I want the best QB that we can get, and IF Manning isnt 100%, then he isnt the best pick, IDC what anyone says.

Lol Manning at 75% is better than all qbs but the upper tier in the league. He IS the best pick! Dude is a HOF and one of the best qbs in history. He will have a chip on his shoulder and will have had a year off so no wear and tear. He will be fresh AND motivated! I would take that any day and twice on sundays! Anyone who says otherwise is crazy.
 
we'd be in for some good times in 2012 provided peytons healthy but i'm a little worried that ross would be so gung ho about getting peyton he wouldn't even require peyton throw for us prior to signing him...and until i see him toss the rock unless its pretty much all incentive based contract i'm not signing him

but boy would it be sweet to have a peyton manning level qb in miami...we'd be in every game...wouldn't go into any game thinking we got no chance...

imo if we get peyton the hits isnt going to hurt him no more than it would moore , this came from the doctor that did the surgery and said he could take a hit just as good as any QB in the league that hits wasnt an issue , but imo we need to keep him away from all the hits that we can if signed . lol
