Mortensen: things could get ugly fast for Sparano

While I think we will probably lose why are the Chargers still highly overrated by everyone. We've already lost to 2 better teams lets not act like the real thrashing comes vs a Chargers team that quite frankly is always the most overrated team in the laegue. If they were half as good as folks have had them they'd have won about 7 of the last 10 Super Bowls.
 
he'll be in trouble at 2 and 2?....lol.....he was in trouble and 0 and 0....funny thing is, we lost to 2 teams that are going to win their divisions....the sad thing is we could have won those 2 games......but like Tuna used to say, you are what your record says you are and we are 0 and 2!

I dont personally think we could have won either game. These teams moved the ball when they needed to while we didnt.

money is ALWAYS an issue. look no further than the pay cuts to dolphins employees during the lockout despite the fact that OBVIOUSLY its going to destroy morale within the organization. terrible terrible - dumb short sighted move. but CLEARLY knowing these things going in MONEY was the ONLY factor. look no further than the ridiculous ticket promotions. money was absolutely a factor and the guy wasnt going to pay a coach 5-8 million a year to simply be a coach in waiting, when he was also going to have to pay sparano anyways.

many factors here. but if there is no lockout - very good chance we have a new head coach last year

money IS a factor. this offseason Ross is going to have to open his pocket book tho if he wants to turn this around. my concern now tho is the ENTIRE organization there are other factors besides who is the head coach. the culture needs to be changed, and this organization lost alot of steam and alot of credibility the day parcells left (not saying i like the guy - just stating the facts)
 
he's evaluted at the end of the season. pointless to fire him during the seaon. who would be willin to step in, at this point of the season?
 
Then it's pretty much written in stone. Sparano WILL be fired, because there's not a chance in hell that we're 2-2 at the Bye.
 
When Tony goes everybody will go. Mike Nolan is getting shafted here, because he's a great coach, it's just that he doesn't have playmakers on defense.

Then explain a top 6 defense last year
and this year we are #32 with almost the same players
 
mike nolan can't fix this thing either...so i don't think it matters if you wait til the end of the year to **** can sparano or not...do it by the bye week and make nolan the interim hc...and expect more of the same craptastic results

at least now there seems to be a pretty uniform front here that these clowns need to go...still some people holding out on a wish and a prayer i guess but they'll all die slow deaths here shortly...
 
and please ross on all that is holy don't miss out on a really good head coach like a cowher cause jeff ireland must stay...please be smarter than that

fire his *** also...his personnel decisions have sucked and he's got at best average draft results...so get rid of him also if it means a real solid head coach comes thru those doors
