I was just on the ESPN site and was on Chris Mortensen's live chat. Here's what he said about our team and the rest of the season. Mind you, I had to send about 20 posts in order for him to respond to one. Notice he picked one of my more dire, desperate posts to respond to.

Frank (Syracuse, NY): Come on Mort, please give me your take on the Miami Dolphins. Is their season over after only 9 weeks?

Chris Mortensen: (11:28 AM ET ) Did they announce something?

Chris Mortensen: (11:29 AM ET ) On the Dolphins, obviously they are inconsistent. That's what I expected them to be, but there are some positives and I would expect them to win three or four more games.

I was listening to Lebatard a couple weeks ago when they had Mort on for a few minutes. The caller asked how close Miami was to competeing for a SB...

Mort replied. "N. Saban and the Phinz are still a couple of years away from contending." "It will take a couple of years for Saban to put his kind of roster in place to make a run, but he's doing a good job thus far...."

That was basically all he said....
