A source with knowledge of the situation tells us that Packers quarterback Brett Favre is "100 percent certain" that Moss will be a Packer by the time the 2007 season starts.

Plus, if the Raiders choose to take receiver Calvin Johnson with the first pick on April 28, their leverage in subsequent trade talks will surely drop, since the chances of the Raiders letting Johnson get anywhere close to the malcontented Moss are slim and none.

We need the Raiders to draft Johnson real bad.The reports of Cleveland locking in on Quinn are not good at all. The only way of us snagging Quinn would be to trade with Detroit and I think that would cost both our 2nd and a player.

Those Cleveland reports are B.S. They aren't drafting Quinn. I garuntee it. Either Russel if Oakland doesn't take him or Peterson. But yea CJ to Oakland would really help us out. Culpepper or McCown need to go to Oakland so that they can draft CJ. Maybe Rodgers in the Moss trade?

Whatever happen there are two weeks before Draft day and next week and especially the week of the Draft things are gonna get real interesting. There have been reports of the Raiders trying to sign thier pick before the draft. As soon as that is revealed we will know alot more. My opinion is that if Quinn slides we will have to trade because the Vikings will pick him up. Childress has shown he is the most uncertain coach out there and Spielman did not draft Jackson and might want his own QB to make him look solid after the mess he created here.

As long as it helps the Raiders draft Johnson. I dont care if Favre and Moss have a boxing match. Moss was a hell of a reciever, but the last two seasons have been a disaster for him. He shows no effort, and I have lost alot of respect for the guy. Favre I have never liked. I know he is a good QB, but I hate the guy. Especially since it seems all he wants is a TD record that our Dan Marino holds and thinks he is the best QB ever.

If the Raiders draft Moss they are in worse shape than any of us thought they were.
Could you just see it as Goodell walks up to the podium with the card and says, "With the 1st pick in the 2007 NFL draft the Oakland Raiders select Randy Moss, wide receiver with the Oakland Raiders". and the crowd in the Garden all say in unison "HUH???" Sorry FinAtic8480, not joking you just thinking of how humorous that would be.:sidelol:

I agree. I don't think the Browns will really take Quinn. The question is if Oak. passes on Russell where will he go. Tampa?

I dont think we are to high on Brown, I think are guy might be Staley. There have been rumors on the Fins not being to high on Brown and Staley moving up the charts....
