From your inability to propperly use the english language, I'm guessing you're a jets fan??

Did you mean "Biggest concern for fins in '09?? What player is of biggest concern??

Clarify a little bit.

I understood the question and answered RUN BLOCKING.

If we cant run-block, we're screwed. The run-blocking was pretty bad in that first preseason game.

Before watching the pre season game I definitely would have said receivers. But after watching the game, and I know you can only take so much away from that, but I think the answer is definitely the run blocking.
Pennington needs timing with his receivers, and a very good running game to be successful, and if we don't open up a lot more holes in the running game than we did last year we're screwed. Especially in the interior O-line.

I chose run blocking as well. R and R can have a ton of success if the line would just create some lanes for them to run through. If not it would be a long season. Our offensive success rests largely on our ability to run the ball. This was also the most disappointing of PS game 1.

going with injuries with this one. we were fortunate as hell last year - let's hope we can do it again.

everyones gonna say run blocking after the first game... but im gonna say secondary... we have 2 rookies there who will play significant roles, a new safety, and we need to see how they all mesh together...

Why all the run blocking? I thought Grove and Smiley and Thomas were the bomb? Maybe if you had a qb who could throw downfield & receivers who could get open & catch it, run blocking would be easier?!

With the way this forum is going lately, the biggest concern is the song they play.

You'd think that the team is playing concerts rather than football with the way some people are complaining.

I don't see why run blocking is the hugest issue, either.

The unit will get better with time as they get their timing down.

The biggest concern to me going into this season has to be the defensive line. Our defensive line is going to be the key for the entire defensive unit in my mind. Our secondary struggled last season largely due to our lack of experience and pressure coming from the DL.

Now that our secondary has been refreshed, they will also still need some time to get acclimated to one another. With a couple rookies out there and a new starting safety, we will need the DL to come up big for us until they get their timing down.

If we can get our DL (and outside LB's) to get pressure on the QB and RB's then it will open of the game for our secondary and LB's to make some plays.

Off of Sunday's night performance and-

hell, the entire reason the Wildcat is causing tsunamis across the NFL (Can you freagin imagine if Vick is as effective as Brown in the WC? With a QB's arm to boot!? And then get's replaced on the field by McNabb!!? Holy Toledo.), -

our inability to run the football by way of normal formations stemming from our inability to (drum roll) run block.
