...Its all good!! Still not much production out of the WR's other than CC..but we'll be fine.

I think Ronnie was the most impressive. Looked more decisive today, and hit it up in there. I don't think he danced and got negative yards maybe more than once. A little disappointed he got caught on that long run. The guy has 4.4 speed and the LB, S, and a DB where all running him down, but he did pull up a bit lame.

I think the OL. Carolina has arguably the best DL in all of football, and they didn't sack Frerotte once.

Welker made a very smart play to get us the ball on the 40 as well - he deserves credit for it.

That was an awesome play by Welker. I think I might give this week to Ronnie though, and I think he has plenty more to show us. Zach also looked real good.

He also had to break a couple tackles which slowed him down some also, allowing the defense to catch up.

I disagree booker has been playing well also

To shut down Peppers all day was huge on the part of the O-Line. That really may have been the hidden difference in this game.

OL easily! Where was Peppers the whole game?

Exactly! The O-Line is starting to come into it's own for us. I know everyone is focusing on the pre-snap penalties but, come on... our line is protecting the passer big time. The Panthers brought a good number of blitzes and they were picked up well.

I realize we have some issues with opening up holes for the runningbacks... but, even there we seem to be coming along nicely. Houck is doing a great job with the talent we have there.

The OL was absolutley outstanding, giving Frerotte time in pass protection, it's looked very good in that aspect all year and i'm very happy. I was not impressed with the pass defense, and the defense in the clutch yet again failed. But Lance Schulters came through with a huge pick and got us the win.

They were missing Kris Jenkins, maybe the best DT in the NFC when healthy. That helped us a lot. Without Jenkins they are not the best DL in football. There is a huge drop off from Jenkins to whomever replaces him.

He hasnt been playing bad,but save 1 game he has been very quite. He needs to step it up also...

Our D-Line played awesome, we out played their D-Line and that was huge in this game. Jason Taylor was awesome stuffing the run and got some pressure on Delehomme. He also had that sack negated on Seau's penalty. Holliday had the fumble recovery. Carter had a sack and Zgonina batted a couple of Jake's passes down. Traylor clogged up the middle and it seemed like our entire D-line did a good job not letting Davis getting any yards.

My question is where is David Boston, I saw him on that one overthrow but that was it....I know Gilmore is playing good on both special teams and as a WR but how can you not try to utilize David's size either with positioning on slants or what not. Maybe the effort isn't there on his part or he isn't 100% but he has way too much talent to be on the sidelines.
