I would have to say WR will be our most improved position on this years team. Camarillo was playing really well before injury, the lightbulb finally came on for Ginn, and Bess when given his chance after Cam's injury, played like a seasoned Vet as a ROOKIE.
You add a Patrick Turner ( very high on this Kid) to that group, along with a whole offseason of work, timing with Pennington, this group i have a strong feeling will quell all this talk about Bolding, Ocho, Plax, or any other Hot Shot receiver out there available.
This will be a solid WR core for many years to come imo. DB's and Oline are a very close second place tie.
Go Dolphins!

Our Secondary. Eric Green is supposedly playing well. Vontae Davis is glued to Will Allen's hip learning everything he can. Clemons got good reviews out of the first OTA. I think our turn over ratio is going to be sick this year.

I think that we ranked 25th in the league against the pass last year vs. 10th in passing. I believe that the secondary will be the most improved. We replaced what I felt was our biggest liability on the field in Renaldo Hill with a more serviceable palyer in Gabrial Wilson. We then brought in Eric Green and spent 2 out of 3 of our top draft picks on CB's Davis and Smith to replace Goodman.

Unless we move up to #1 in the league in passing and fall flat on our face in the secondary we should have more upside on the defensive secondary side of the ball overall.

Secondary seems like the biggest probable improvement on the team.. that and ST's were the weakest to me last year, so they have the biggest up side to me, follow then by OL play..

I think the secondary. We did lose Goodman and Hill, but we added quite a few people that have the potential to be pretty good. At cornerback we have some nice depth.

Wilson, Green, Davis, Smith and Clemons I believe really bolster the secondary.

O line we got some depth
secondary we got younger and bigger
Most improved unit i will say the Wr's we got young guys and with another year they are only gonna get better

The secondary gets my vote. It may take some time to gel but we added the most potential back there with the 3 rookies and a free agent signing.

The secondary was improved with the addition of Wilson and Green. Davis and Smith are rookies and their skill won't be known until the season starts. I think both will become studs eventually. We lost Goodman and Hill and pretty much replaced them with Wilson and Green (I'll leave the rookies out until we see what happens with them).

The wide receiver corps is in the same boat. No real addition other than the two rookies. Turner and Hartline have some potential, but I won't be anointing them Pro Bowlers yet. So the WR corps is pretty much the same from last season.

The OL probably had the most improvement this offseason. The addition of Grove over Satele will be very significant, IMO. I think Grove is the type of C we needed and I hope he can stay healthy. Berger was a nice addition as well.

So in conclusion, I say the OL was the most improved position this offseason, but I think the secondary has the best potential to be the best improved of the three.

Well since we drafted defense first with secondary I might have to go with that. Since we also picked up some free agents in that area also.

Of course we also have a new center. Who might be a big difference.

And how could i forget the wide receivers. Personally i think we could have done better here. And I won't even get into the pat White thing. As most of us hope he does what he was brought here for.

But all in all I think the secondary. Apart from the wide receivers it was one of the areas we had most trouble.

We treaded water in the secondary as far as improvement, but we added a lot of talent. Lack of experience will mean Davis and Smith will definitely takes some lumps and will not play as many snaps as they will in the future. But, I have a lot of faith in Davis' and Smith's talents. Adding Wilson is a big plus, but he's more of the same role as Bell IMHO, so we still lack a bit of a ballhawk back there. While we lost two veterans who played quite well last year, I think they had career years and I doubt they perform at that level this year. I see Wilson and Green as at least as talented and once they get adjusted to the team, city and system, they should be a solid secondary.

Talent-wise, we really addressed the secondary fantastically. Wilson isn't that hold and when Bell retires, Wilson can take that position over. Green seemed like a solid low-cost acquisition that really is a can't-lose addition. After hearing the kids story, I'm pulling for him. In Davis and Smith we snagged two of the 3 best CB's for our system in the entire draft. They could eventually become our starters and have the potential (dreaded 'P' word) to rival Madison and Surtain ... though I really doubt it and think that is too much pressure to put on their shoulders.

We kinda dropped the ball IMHO by not snagging at least 1 developmental CB last year (Orlando Scandrick was one of the later round guys I was pushing for instance), but I give Ireland full credit for addressing it this offseason.

Secondary by far. Added not only starters, but added quite a bit of depth. Then O-Line due to the same reasons. At WR we only added depth. Ginn, Cam, and Bess will be the top 3 among the depth chart so no new faces will be starting unless our draft pics or some other player surprises.
