IMHO, most of what we saw was sort of expected. All three QBs looked alright. First-team D looks sharp. Ginn looks ready for a break-out year. Pat White can run. Smith has the lockdown ability we suspected he might have.
But the thing that really stands out to me is the return ability of Chris Williams. I did not at all think he was a contender for the #6 receiver spot (if we carry 6 receivers), but he might have just put his hat in the ring after tonight. He made some mistakes early with a muff (that he picked up) and not knowing where he was on another return (that ended up pinning the Phins at their own 1yd line), but after that he almost broke it on every single punt or kickoff return. We had good field position for most of the night thanks to his returning.
I think he's forced the coaching staff to consider keeping him on the roster. Add to that the fact that London and Armstrong didn't do anything to help their cases.
If he keeps this type of returning up, I doubt he clears waivers if we try to stash him on the PS.
