Most memorable single play in Dolphin history?

Its either the Fake Spike/Clock play or the unveiling of the wildcat.

Any thing against a division rival is even more kick a$$.

A.J. Duhe gets his third interception of the game and returns it 35 yards for a touchdown in the final minutes to cement a win against the Jets in the 1982 AFC Championship game. I had forgotten about this until I looked it up, my memory is not as good as it used to be.

Supposedly Shula had the field watered down to slow the potent NY offense.

Check out who posted this on U Tube. Finheaven member Awsi Dodger.

That's the problem there is too many to name one, but these are all good choices.

Sadly the best one I have is I believe it was Trace Armstrong strip sacking Flutie in the playoffs. That's my earliest great memory. As you all know there hasn't been too much to cheer about since then....This was the best version I could find. :(

Not that that play meant a whole lot in the end but still, I jumped up from the couch injuring my GF at the time cause she leaning/sleeping on me, and waking up the whole god damn house... 4th and goal from the 11 yard line if I remember correctly, with a few ticks left in the game. We needed a TD on THAT play to win the game against the Pats in a year we finished 4-12... That was my primetime game superbowl... F it Feely threaded it to McKnight for the TD... Not the greatest in history for sure but it still broke my GF`s wrist...

LMAO how do you get around breaking your GF's wrist lol?

I know there were plays that meant more to the team's success, but nothing, absolutely nothing is as memorable for me as Leon Lett's blunder and the ensuing recovery in that game. Maybe because it was Thanksgiving, maybe because it was so absurd. Probablly both.

My favorite, and keep in mind I was born in '88, is the Lamar smith run in overtime to beat the colts in the first round of the playoffs in that epic comeback

Nat Moore helicopter and the hook and lateral to Nathan are the best to me. Maybe the Czonka roughing the tackler?

Those are truly awesome plays and immediately came to mind.

Another one I haven't seen mentioned was the Thanksgiving day Leon Lett play. Lett was clueless about the rules while several Dolphins huddled around the flopping ball just hoping some unprepared Cowboy would touch it. Jimmy Johnson and Jerry Jones were starting to head over and pay their respects ... and all of a sudden, we snatched victory from the jaws of defeat on a snowy Dallas field in front of a national television audience. That was a nice Thanksgiving.

Definitely for me the hook and lateral in the 1981 San Diego playoff game...still remember that one like it was yesterday.
