I am an admitted Henne supporter, but that doesn't mean I think he should just be handed the keys either. I unlike all of you, I don't know if he'll make it in this league or not. But holy shiit, you guys see Moore play a decent quarter and all of a sudden we have Joe Montana in the wings.

Let the preseason play out with these two. I didn't see anything to make me believe, yet, that Moore should be starting for this team. To me, let the best man win.

If it truly is an open competition i don't think the best man would be henne..
Don't get me wrong i think henne will play his best this year..
Henne is in a contract year..henne doesn't have henning over him
Henne has some new toys.. And henne wants to prove the doubters wrong
but henne is still good for one or 2 big screw ups a game and sometimes
he just looks like a deer in the headlights and not ready..

We all know henne's faults as in staring down receivers and throwing into double coverage every now and again. He also has driven our team downfield against good defenses. Our problem last year was 3rd down conversions and scoring td's in red zone. Its very early in new offense. Old habits are hard to break particularly when you are playing "vanilla" in preseason and that is how I see this. I think henne is pretty good taking off running instead and on early downs, should do that more if he does not see anything.

I don't see how anyone can be cracking up when we have a guy buy the name of Henne starting a Qb. There is nothing funny about that. Crying would be much more appropriate

Henne looked like the same robot from last year. Moore did look like the better QB out there, either way we have 2 second string QB's this year, were screwed!
