Most overrated player ever!

I agree that Marino was a better passer than Montana. Still I bet Marino would trade his records for 4 SBs. You cant say Marino is better than Montana because Montana had hall of fame talent with him and Marino didnt. Marino had a ton of Pro Bowlers. Besides using that logic Brady would be better than both of them. Using Marinos numbers to justify him as the best QB ever will bite you in the *** the day Manning retires.

If Marino had played on the 49ers hed have 6 rings somone here said. Well if my aunt had balls shed be my uncle and if granny had wheels shed be a wagon. You can what if it to death. But it ended up the way it did.

Now before all you Marino homers flame me ( like I care) I think Marino is the best QB of all time. Hes the only reason I even liked the Fins. But I dont need to put other QBs down to prop him up. Especially great QBs who have solid legacies.

Vick is the most overrated QB in the league. As a running back, he's great, but a QB he's not up to par. That makes him overrated. And when I hear that the Falcons ranked first or second in rushing, take away Vick's numbers and that total drops to 28 or 29th in the league (according to Sporting News). Put Vick in as a running back and he might be the best there is today.

LOL @ "Tom Brady is overrated." You guys are smoking crack. All Brady does is find ways to win games. And his WR and RB corps have not always been top-flight, yet he still won. He's not the pure passer Marino was, obviously, but dude is a winner, which is what counts.

Lets see...Tom Brady has 3 rings before the age of 28, has NEVER lost a playoff game and has 2 Super Bowl MVP's...but he's overrated?

I think Tom is a little underrated personally....I'd take him over ANY player at any position in the league.

The entire Bills offense that went to 4 superbowls and LOST! Smelly, Thomas, and gang of perrenial loser that made it to the Superbowl when the best AFC teams were 5th to 7th best in the league.

Also Eric Dickerson was a perennial loser when it came to big games. Mr. Buckle-under!

steve young, playing west coast short sissy passes would get ryan leaf a high qb rating. he shouldnt even be allowed to stand in the same room as marino. marino made his recievers, rice made young

Someone agrees with me.

Neither one of you must have seen Namath play. He dueled Johnny Unitas toe to toe, and had that "quick release" everyone bows to Marino for before Marino. Toward the end, he was a mess, but that was with two bad knees before modern surgery could keep you patched up better.

Now, over rated - Drew Bledsoe, Warren Sapp, Brian Urlacher, Matt Hasselbeck, Chad Pennington among a few modern players. Franco Harris always struck me as over-rated taking the sideline out instead of finishing off his runs.
