how are the vikings, ravens or jags surprises? everyone figured they would be good... maybe you could put the vikings there, but the ravens everyone was high on with the mcnair signing, and the jags won 12 games last year, i doot see how they are surprising anyone...

Simple.

Well for the Vikings, how about new HC and beating legitment playoff contender their first 2 games? Most people figured they would go 0-2.

Ravens- Yea they got hyped up, but not everyone was sold. Questions about Jamal Lewis maybe losing his touch, Defense loosing its swagger. All that was gone after they shut out the Bucs and beat the Raiders (not saying much I know).

Jags- Well they were soft last year since they had a soft oppoents and it showed in the playoffs. This year the Jags look solid, beat a playoff contender and knocked off the super bowl champs. not just beat them but shut them out.

Ravens and Jags are DEFINITELY not surprises IMO. Both have great defenses, plus the Ravens D is finally all healthy again. I think they will contend with Cincy for the top spot in the AFC north.

9ers are better than I thought they'd be. New Orleans and Atlanta both are playing pretty good too.

Biggest disappointment besides the Fins is definitely Carolina IMO.

I definitely agree, also have to add the Bucs to the list of disappointments...:up:

uh dude the lions are always disappointing its no suprise there
 
49ers have to be the most surprising team. Alex Smith is looking like he's played the game for years. He is calm in the pocket and has a cannon for an arm. Once he gets some more weapons and some defensive talent on that team they are going to be great.

Suprise: Saints.
Dissapointment other than the Fins: Carolina.
 
The Falcons, Saints, and Vikings are most suprising while the Panthers, Bucs, and unfortunately Dolphins are most dissapointing.
