After sitting back and looking at the current Phin situation calmly, I think I've hit upon their next roster move....

I'm a long-time Jason Allen fan and defender but right now I think that the best thing for both the Dolphins and Jason is to cut him this week. He's been jerked around for the last three years and if Sparano has a boner for "smart stud" safeties like Crocker, then get rid of Allen and let him join another team. He's had three D coaches in three years and each regime has moved/ benched/ not used him at all so something (talent, intelligence, karma?) isn't working in Miami with him.

It would be hilarious if we cut Jason Allen and he went to another team and played great. Maybe then our trifecta would wake up and realize that signing all their chronies doesn't always work

Sit ****er for the next 2 games, start Allen for the next 2, compare, contrast and release the worse of the two, which IMO would be ****er. ****er is an exact replica of Tillman.. Has no right starting in the NFL

Remember how long we were screaming for Bell to start over tillman! this I think is the same case.

Crocker sucked big time in Atlanta so I can't see why in the hell we wanted him here!!!!! He is playing here just as he did in Atlanta and we want him as our starter??!!!!

We signed him because he was supposed to have great special teams abilities, not for him to be our starting free safety, but somewhere along the line, the D Backs coach got stoned and gave the job to ****er

I think J Allen is just a game player. He is not a practice stud or film rat. He needs to be tried as the starter for a whole game. He makes plays. Yes, he will make a few mental errors, but he is physical and a ball hawk. He seems the type though that would get better as the game went on because he gets more comfortable and can just play.

Quick name one good thing Crocker has done-preseason or regular? I can't. I can think of many good Allen plays.

All I know is when Allen saw starter time last year, he was one of the best players on defense, but the whole year when he subbed in, he looked kinda lost.

leave jason alone!
everytime i hear the name chris crocker i think of that fruit cake on youtube.

You'd think that after 3 years of hearing about Allen's poor study habits (on occassion) and all the time as a back-up, that he'd move into the film room and study as much as possible. Just saying.

If we release Jason,he will end up with the Pats, and Bill will
make him a Pro Bowler.
