The one that's been topping my list lately is the draft pick we traded for AJ Feeley. Just imagining who we could have drafted with the second rounder instead of that bum.

The ones that bother me are Jamar Fletcher and Eddie Moore. With Ricky being the centerpiece of our team back then, those picks should've both been offensive linemen, which would've transformed this team into a playoff team this year IMO. Gus would've had all day and would've been far more accurate I think, and the running game would've been even better. We neglected the line FAR too long recently.

The other part about those picks is that they made little sense. What team drafts a CB #1 when it already has two pro-bowl caliber CBs (Surtain and Madison)? And exactly WHERE was Eddie Moore going to play? Moore was also a big-time reach in the 2nd.

Hasn't the offensive line played well enough for you this year? It's given up far less sacks this season to yet another almost immobile QB (although that throw against the Chargers was magnifique).

The run blocking still isn't quite there, but the pass protection has done a good job.

Wayne talking jimmy out of retirement and promising him to promote his buddy. But then again, we probably wouldn't have Saban now.

Lamar Gordon... Imagine Saban with another 3rd... a Crowder type pick. We maybe could have grabbed WR Chris Henry...

That was an act of a team truly desperate to replace a pro bowl RB and thinking only of the 2004 season. And it certainly backfired, as he was gone within one game.

Truth be told though I don't think we would have won many games with Ricky last year either. The offensive line, as one radio broadcaster quipped last year, was "not even NFL quality"

ya... but I hate that trade more than the Feeley one. Atleast we were trying to find a future with the Feeley trade, but the Lamar Gordon trade was just a complete waste...

It's interesting if you think about moves that you regret we made this year. It is really hard to think of any and if you can then its probably only like one or two things that didnt make a huge difference. That is a GREAT sign.

First off Happy Holidays to everyone. I think Wanny taking Jamar Fletcher over Drew Brees was huge.

Feeley - cause he stinks.
Gordon - See above. Just not as bad
Howard - See above. But at least he only cost us money and not a pick.

In that order

Two recent trades, a 2nd for Feeley & a 3rd for Gordon. We'd be set at CB & have a QB of the future if those two moves hadn't happened.
