Superbowl? if that was to happen i think the dolphins would be the only team in history to do that? With Feely as your QB your team is never goign to go anywhere. U had a better chance with Fiedler.
are you just sad we took scott?!:rofl3: silly vikings fan... of them all i hate the vikings the worse...yes even more than the jets. btw he was saying we have superbowl TALENT he wasnt making predictions. youve been listening to the media and prediction makers in magazines. the phins have a completely new attitude, this team has constructed an excellent defensive line and solid linebacking core. we have a suspect secondary but thats why our defensive line is so important. on offense our line is being coached by one of the greats in the business and our running back core is DEEP and strong, remember how linehan used your backs, he arguably has more to work with here. This team will suprise many, we have equal or greater talent from when we were 10-6, we just need to gel. the vikings have a superbowl look team, but if they get to the superbowl, culpepper wont win it...hes not mentally tough enough and smart to. and you once again...will lose another superbowl... im done... i have to listen to viking fans enough up here...:fire:

Well I just wanna know is if Feeley doesn't pan out, gets released, and we draft a QB next year, who takes over in the mean time??? Frerote.......? Sage........? A new Free Agent? I'd say it all depends on the situation going into next year. If we perform really good in all area's EXCEPT QB, then I think Saban tries to get a capable QB via Free Agency, who can play RIGHT AWAY. If we have a mediocre season, and it looks like we need to fill a lot of holes then I think he drafts a QB, and lets all the young guys develope together. My hope is of course that one of our current QB's lights the league on fire this year, but my second choice would be that we're just a QB away from being great, and we pick up Brees, or somebody of his caliber

There are a couple of guys I have my eye on that could become "available" one way or the other.

One is Dave Ragone, once coached by Scott Linehan, as someone pointed out when they started a thread about him a while ago. Another is Patrick Ramsey, who has the big arm that Scott Linehan would salivate over, and is in a major crowding situation in Washington. Another QB is Steve McNair, as another poster pointed out in a thread a while ago. Another guy is Aaron Brooks, who has been rumored to be on the outs with New Orleans for years and might just end up out for good next offseason. Of course, Drew Brees will probably be available as well. I will always keep an eye on Rohan Davey, personally. David Garrard is worth watching in Jax. I also think Marques Tuiasosopu is worth watching. Chris Simms is worthy of some attention, but only some. J.T. O'Sullivan is worthy of note too. Kelly Holcombe is a downfield thrower with a big arm that could make this offense work.

I know some of you will point out that these guys are under contract etc. But, a lot can happen in a year.

It's not that I fault Spielman for his system he used to pick AJ Feeley. I think he had it somewhat right. Where I blame Spielman is he put all his eggs in one basket by overpaying for Feeley when he should have recognized that his system of picking a QB really breaks into percentages. You play the percentages, and sometimes the percentages don't land in your favor, you have to have the ability to cut and run with more repetitions to make the percentages work for you.

In this case, he compared a group of QBs and came up with AJ Feeley, when the guy he really should have come up with turned out to be Billy Volek, who was also available last offseason.

9-7 or 10-6 ur on crack. i see a 4-12 record. and with a trade up to get Matt

Good luck with your team...they went 2-4 went Moss was hurt last year and Culpepper was average without him. All those additions on defense won't mean jack when you have trouble scoring points....and you will have troubles scoring points.

How will the Dolphins have the same record as last year? Last year they had the worst coaching staff in football, no running game to speak of and injuries killed the defense....all that has changed yet they will be the same?

Dolphin critics crack me up. They look at our record from last year and assume we will be the same or worse....even though we had our best offseason in a long long time.

Go back to the Vikings board and talk about how your overrated team will go to the Super Bowl...something that will not happen.

if brees does good SD will not be trading him they will trade philip rivers

Even if we do have a poor season, I can't see Saban trading up at all. If theres one thing we learned this off season about him, its that he is all about value and keeping draft picks. To trade from say the number 5 to the number 1 would require alot more than a player and the pick, exp. with the "franchise" qb avaliable at 1. It would be much more probable that we stay at whatever pick we have and take BPA.

Why not? We have enough tallent and depth to make a Superbowl run and I feel that our all star coaching staff can gell with the players fast enough to put together a wildcard run

i agree 100% we do have the talent and we was in every game last year except 1 and now that ricky is back and our ol is geling we have a very good shot at a playoff run you are on the right track there pass rush

I do think we have the talent but I don't think we can get everything together with all the new players and coaches in 1 year. I think next year we have a good chance at making a playoff run, but not this year. Although hopefully we can be the next Chargers.:D

what with Leinhart???? i hardly think sooooo how many rookies has done it there 1st year lmao it will take aleast 2-3 years with a rookie in there:shakeno:

nice to see we have some loyal supporters! NOT! we are a better team than last year so why would we have the same record?!!

And I see a fervently overzealous pessimist with an attitude so liberal he'd make Ralph Nader pump his lips full of nitro-glycerin and kiss the ground I walk on.

9-7 is quite realistic. As is 10-6. The only 4-12 record you see will be your amateur boxing record after I jam a Palestinian military-funded sky rocket so far up your :yell: you'll be seeing stars and not the 4th of July kind.

And back to the topic. ;) . It's not worth it bud. I'm a hard-cell on the murkiest mornings.

well guys ive been think that if AJ dosent pan out (which i hope he dose and think he will) but if not i dont think we will be drafting a QB in the draft cause if brees dose good this year we will be going after him IMO if we have a say 9-7 or 10-6 season we will prob get to pick around the 10 spot and and matt will prob done be gone but if not i say we will still go after brees and take care of another area of need we will need someone to come in and start right away it will take matt 2 years to start 4 us and it will be 2 late 4 alot of our d players cause they will retire and i think brees will fit our offence well so what do you guys think do we go after matt and wait 2 years and (just maybe he could be a bust not saying he will be but could happen) OR DO WE TAKE brees i know he only had one good year but if he dose good this year ..what do you guys think???:D

Somehow I don't see it in our future.
