I would like to get as many people on board who feel that Ross selling the team is the best way to go at this point. Please state 1 reason each why you think this would be the right move for the organization.

Reason. Mr Ross's inability to have a football business structure that is conductive to chain of command and accountability.

Lets put all our responses associated with this subject matter on this thread to make it easier for the people associated with the Dolphins to understand the fanbase reaction.

I just do not see this happening any time soon. I think he would lose money if he tried to sell the team now with the stadium business still going on and all the bad press. I do not think the team is worth what he paid for them now imo.

Those arent his intentions but its obvious he is not fit for this. He cant even hire someone to run his business

You are stealing my catch phrase.

The NFL is a very exclusive club of 32 billionaires. For most ownership is about ego and power. To posses something that only 32 people on the planet can have. Taking that into consideration Ross will not sell the team. End of story

All he has to do is hire a team president to take over the day to day operations of the team and stay the hell out of the way.

Hire ONE guy, at the very top, and let him ensure things are running properly. Let him speak to the media. Let him be on the hook if things turn ugly.

If I were Ross I would've done that from day one.

I hope the point of this thread isnt to solicit another one of those useless and annoying petitions again. Because I'm sure Ross pays full attention to each of them :rolleyes2:

From a financial perspective, selling the team at a loss is a wise move if Mr. Ross decides that the money could earn a higher rate of return somewhere else.

For Ross the money is secondary. He want's the cache of being in the owners club, the status of owning a football team, etc. He makes plenty of money elsewhere.

We won't lose this guy until the team becomes a personal embarrassment or he loses interest.
