MSNBC Camp Preview

Hot seat: Jason Taylor.
Despite his Pro Bowl credentials and success as a pass rusher, Taylor doesn't fit the size requirements or style of a Saban-defensive end. There is already talk of Taylor spending more time as a linebacker, a position suited to his mobility but allegedly not to his liking. If Taylor can't make the shift mentally, Saban will be shifting him out of town in a year, so there is pressure on Taylor to perform and on Saban to find the best use for him......................... Now i dont know if saban is going to ship taylor out but nice read anyway thanks

I don't agree with everything being predicted but at least it sounded fairly objective. Some writers aren't even on the same planet or didn't watch any football last year.

Haven't people been saying Zach Thomas was too small his whole career?

Zach Thomas? i thought it was zach taylor

In a team filled with holes, the biggest remains at quarterback, where Frerotte could become the seventh starter in the past six seasons if he unseats Feeley. If popular linebacker Zach Taylor and defensive end Jason Thomas end up unhappy, morale could be an issue; and the face of the running game could be a problem if Williams returns to a team he walked out on and proves a threat to Saban's first No. 1 pick. If the last is the case, what does the dictatorial Saban do then?

Small in stature but he gets the job done, however his play seems to have dropped off some. Sounds that there saying too small for what "Saban" likes in LB core.
