Mueller Interview 1 on 1-1/23/07

Great minds think alike fellas. I've been pimping Ginn Jr for sometime now because of his speed. Take a listen to what Mueller has to say about it.

"I'm looking for guys who can run fast."

"I'm looking for someone who jumps out at me with speed."

WR Ted Ginn in the first round (I'm not a big fan of it, but I'll back my team on it)

RB Lorenzo Booker in the fourth - hope he's there for us.

i just listened to it,,he explains how he likes speed and playmaking ability in the skill positions,he described pretty cool, said when your playing touch football when your a kid and that special kid who people can't really touch in space, they just make moves and the have the speed to explode,he said that those skills are the same when looking at defensive players as well.

He did say he's bias to offense and that thats his specialty, his track record would definately back that up.I WANT GINN,if we can't then i would be happy LEVI BROWN

Ya know..... I have seen that. How do people think he is talking about Ginn Jr.? There could be others.... Dwayne Jarrett maybe.....I dunno.

Booker..... we don't need another RB... When Ricky gets back, don't look for Cam to trade him unless someone offers high picks. Until then, we will have more than our share of RB by committee...

Ginn may be fast but he doesn't run routes well, is too scared to catch balls across the middle, and has games where he just doesn't show up. Pass. Mueller never mentioned Ginn, his description could fit a few guys in Mobile.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO to ginn unless we trade down. I am a big fan of his and hope he does well, but not worth the #9 pick unless he shows something totally different at the combine than what he is able to do, like play WR at the next level. Johnson and Rice are the only two receivers IMO that are worth a high pick in the first round. I think Jarrett might be a bust in the end so i am not to high on him either.

You know whats funny... All this talk about the draft... People getting so passionate about it now that they are losing their minds. Come on people.... You got like 2 months or so till the draft. Some people are acting like taz on a major caffine rush. By the time it gets here, some of you guys are gonna have annurisms or strokes...lol.

ginn is not a COMPLETE wr...i wouldnt take him at #9

if we go Ginn..that will leave either Booker, Welker, or Hagan out...i think we need some gems on the oline, linebacker, corners before we should touch wideouts

johnnie lee higgins speed jumps out at u more than ted ginn's...u have to look at the complete receiver and i dont think ted ginn can ever become a complete receiver...

"Let me show yah somethin!" The draft & FA is all we Dolfans have from here to next season.

To the rest who commented that Mueller does not mention Ginn in the interview: the fastest WR in the draft is Ginn. No, he doesn't mention Ginn by name but come on guys. Some of you will burry your head in the sand before indulging an idea that is totally against your point of view. Do I know that Ginn is going to be a star? No. As much as you don't know if he's going to be a bust.

The Senior Bowl and combine may change Ginn's rating. But if the draft was today, and Russel, Quinn, Thomas, Johnson all go as mock drafts are predicting, the pick for us is Ginn.

I hear ya. I am in that same boat. I wish the Fins were still playing. That would make me a happy camper.....

Jarrett works for me, but please no more Big 10 WR's or DB's. That conference was just exposed in the bowl games. They are a slow conference and overrated players.

Congrats on one of the most generalized statements ever posted. PS. Everyone from Penn State is slow b/c of their uniforms!
