I always figured Olivadotti had a kung fu grip on the title of worst Dolphins coordinator until I experienced The Mularkey. I remember hearing people complain about Linehan last year (which was ridiculous) but I never did. Even if it took awhile for things to click the playcalling was inventive and aggressive. Mularkey is a different story. Fans are usually too quick to jump on coordinators but not this time. I'm sick of idiotic formations that look like we're trying to play rugby. I'm sick of screens being the first option. Today he had Joey fake a screen to the left and then throw one to the right in one of the goofier plays i've seen in awhile. His 3rd down calls are a joke. I think it's seriously affecting Ronnie how he has Barnes run around before he sets up in the backfield. Just set up in an I and let Ronnie run like he's done his entire life. He's trying to throw teams off guard with different looks but not a single defense we've faced remotely gives a ****. I believe talent is more important than scheme but rather then get all tearful over missing Gus or saying Ronnie's in a sophomore slump and that Houck has suddenly gone senile let's take a look at this spectacular train wreck of an offensive coordinator. The only way this offense improves is if Nick makes serious changes to the amount of power Mularkey has. I'm disgusted that Bills fans actually knew what they were talking about... for once.

Exactly. I'm sick of seeing TEs and FBs running in and out of the backfield before the snap like they're rehearsing for Cats.

Unfortunately, for Mularkey he is the one major difference from this year to last year. Local radio is praising his game plan for the pats! His game plan was the same as it always been: short passes. (i.e Welker - 9 catches 77 yards) the only difference you had harrington executing. The difference is and this is where coordinators earn their paycheck: 2nd half adjustments: the pats laid off the blitz and we're throwing trick screens and short passes which were "expected" and easily defended. The game was lost in the 2nd half because of this.

To Many Trick Plays that are Use-less!

The guy even called one on the TD for Ronnie Brown....Just play Football 101....the Steelers game was lost on the Pitch out for a 1st down!?!?!:goof:

No you didn't use the "O" word . Compared to Linehan, Mularkey is just plain Jane. He's afraid to stretch the field. He depends too much on YAC.

Yeah, but Mularkey doesn't have that furry catepillar across his forehead.

Great post

mularkees play calling is pretty horrid but we lost in foxboro because on our first 3 possesions we had a fumble an int and a blocked kick the turnovers led to the 10 points we lost by

remember a couple of months ago, when a couple of Bills fan that post here regularly had given us the heads up about Mularkey. Well at this point in the season they are :grouplaug at us now!

How bad is it that the Bills aren't that good, and yet their fans can still be justified in laughing relentlessly at us?

I swear... if I see one more freakin run play out of the damn shotgun... I am going to snap!!!!

So right...And its a false start waiting to happen...And im sick of running Ronnie straight up the gut when every single time he gets hit at or before the line. At least 90% of the runs I have seen up the middle have looked horrible...We need to try to set up more screens and try to get ronnie on the outside in space so he can get his motor going and bulldoze through poeple

Playing calling is bad I will not deny, However false starts, Holding cost us a first and goal, Blocked field goal 3 points, missed field goal 3 points. Gave them 10 points on a pick and fumble thats 16 points that are not on the offensive Cordinator.
