Okay fellas, time to say how much Mularkey will suck this week.
How many dep balls will be thrown, and what will the pass, run, stupid a** gadget play ratio be?

2 deep, and 70% pass, 25% run, 5% s.a.g.p.
your predictions?:boohoo:

Just to play devil's advocate, other than Chambers (who's not really fast), who is fast enough to get deep and be coverage? Who on the OL can block long enough to give Joey or DC enough time to lob a pass up?

Mularkey is not in charge of the Colt's offensive play calling, so other than lack of 5 more run plays per game, he's really sticking with the limits the talent is showing. Now, if the OL opens holes for Ronnie, and buys Joey some time, maybe we'll see some longer, deeper passes. Hagan seems like he can run, so keep positive.

Well, lets analize the situation. The Jets are currently ranked 28th against the run, allowing on average almost 150 yards a game.

Because of this, the Jets will be expecting the run, so the most logical thing to do is pass every down. In fact, all running plays have been scrapped in the gameplan for the Jets. We will be lineing up 5 wide in a spread offense, to utilize Ronnie's receiving skills.

Its absolutly full proof...

Ha, thats funny. I remember linehan doing that too some last year on the goal line. They expect a run, so lets pass to the corner. Now, they will never expect us to try it again. Oh one more time will blow them away.

Meanwhile, we could have just plowed easily for a TD.

(oh and for the earlier post, Chambers isn't fast? might want to check that statement)

actually, Joey did good on that long go route into the endzone in Pats game last weekend...they rolled cover2 on Chris though...his fault for making it to the ProBowl...

Passing it to the WR in the corner of the End zone is almost as predictable and equally as boring as a dive up the middle.

Here's what I'd do; 1) Line up on one of the hashes and go w/ a 3 TE set. Peelle & ? next to the OT's, 2) McMike lined up out as a WR on the wide side, 3) Minor or Welker as the FB and Ronnie as the TB, 4) fake the counter to Ronnie to the short side, 5) This is the important part, Cleo would be the QB  have him bootleg opposite Ronnie, & 6) toss it to Randy running a square in or Travis out in the flat (same side as Cleo).

To quote, the Guiness commercial, "Brilliant!" :cooldude:

Mularkey, is that you?

I think Joey is going to have a big day, Welker and CC will get open, and our D will shut down the Jets, Jets, Jets.

I have gone into too many games this year thinking like that (titans, texans) and getting burnt. I think i'll wait and see what happens in this game with an open mind.

If the line can just keep the holding and false starts to a minimum we might have a chance at some points.

We will have plenty of deep balls thrown.....the real question is, will they be thrown by Ronnie Brown or Chris Chambers?

I think the whole offense will have a big day because the Jets defense is awful.

my prediciton is ronnie rips of 100 yards in the first half and all we do is pass in 2nd half instead of feading the horse thats wut i think!!!
