Please excuse my ignorance. Is Mike Mularkey in or out in the new administration? My understanding is that Cam Cameron has always made all of the offensive calls.

He is now our TE coach I believe. I really don't think he deserves that. The guy is garbage.

C'mon give Mulark a break! He's kept his mouth shut and taken the demotion like a man. From Head Coach to tight end coach in 2 years, that's a pretty steep decline. Mulark played tight end in the pros and he is a native South Floridian. With Saban gone, he could have publicly played the blame game but he didn't. Give him a pass this year.

So long as he's not calling the plays I have no problems with Mularkey.

If memory serves, he did okay as OC w/ the Steelers. I have been overly impressed with Mularkey though. Considering how hamstrung he was last yr (running Linehans system & being micromanaged by you know who), I will give him a pass as well.

I blame a lot of our offensive struggles last year on Mike Mularkey BUT he was working within Linehan's scheme (supposedly) so I don't know how much was him and how much was Saban limiting him. I think they guy is a good coordinator, his track record proves it and I'm sure he'll leave next year for another coordinator position or even as a college head coach. Give the guy a break, he can't relly hurt this team anymore.

We definitely have only one undisputed leader of the offensive machine this year ... Cam Cameron ... and he's got a pretty good track record of being the engineer. There will be plenty of brainpower going into this year's offense. Cam just needs to develop or find a QB and some butt kickin O-linemen and he'll get the most out of them.
