Mularkey gets blasted but he has a decent resume. As much as I wanted him out of the OC role he was forced to take over someone else's offense. That was a tough position to be in. And he had no QB really to work with. New offense - new QB's to that offense - tough situation. Given that I'm glad he is not calling plays this year but he does have value. He knows most of the players. This guy Shea has a terrible resume in comparison. Mularkey would seem to be a much better fit than him. Remember Cam is going to run his own offense and call plays.
