Funny how "reasonable" and Dolphins fit like a square peg in a round hole...Be nice to join those 2 words together

First off it seems like the Dolphins are looking at a Head Coach as more or less shorter term than the usual approach in finding the most credible, experience, proven, candidate possible with the usual understanding of being capable to build and develop and be here for some period beyond 2-3 years. Doesn't seem to be the case with this FO. Coaches looked at are even more crap shot than normal and those with more proven success Your Arians, Fangio's Munchaks not really much in the picture...Not to say that possibly a Richards, Rizzi, etc could not also be successful but more likely a larger crap shot...

So IMO, what needs to be done is IF Denver picks Fangio we should give Munchak a deal he can't refuse. Know he didn't want to be here but we shouldn't be scared away...Give it a significant effort at least.
WHY ?
Getting a QB this year though possible Draft, FA is in the picture but is also more difficult now, what is possible is starting to build a dominating Offensive Line which Munchak has proven and has that great experience in doing. So if there is a 3 year plan after 3 years we move on from him but hopefully with a new QB and an OL that helps solidify the performance of our new QB and RB's...If Munchak turns out to be good we'll extend his contract....

I mean this idiotic organization needs a thought out plan and not the continuation of just existing.

Ross's Grier.....word to focus on " THOUGHT " something thats been non existent so long they need a reminder....
Or its continuation of Ground Hog Day more like Years not day...so sad
 
Id like to see Ross pick someone off FinHeaven to Coach them...It could be a fun reality show type thing and the real kicker? They will do as well as anyone he is about to hire or anyone he HAS hired.

And how sad a pathetic it is that what you say is probably not far from the truth. I mean really most of us could have achieved the annual failure of our previous acquisitions. So maybe more in the L column but same yearly result..

Sadly they have no plan or idea that plans are even needed....Its unbelievable

Sure Ross would pass on the CK's in the hood and go for the RTrules or Gaseluvr etc..

Once again the half measure of not cleaning house is rearing it's ugly head again. Grier needed to be fired, and new blood bought in. Now we are looking at someone willing to become a part of an organization that has been dis functional for 2 decades. Our idiot owner, Stephen "Can't get right" Ross, is the real problem, and until he is gone, so is the tradition that once was the Miami Dolphins.
 
Some posters on here, and Ross, do not get it. By retaining Grier it greatly reduces the quality of HC candidates. Good coaches are not going to fall into the same loser franchise because their careers are at stake. The candidates need to see a fresh slate.

This same ol same ol inbreeding is a completely failed approach.

This will leave us with Rizzi at this rate.

Complete joke of a franchise.

I know he's turned us down and the odds are against it but damn try, show some leadership throw out a Harbaugh effort...

Yes, you don’t go after him. How many times do you need to see Ross embarrass the franchise by courting a coach that doesn’t want to be here? Worse yet have a coach quit because their heart wasn’t in Miami like Jimmy and Saban.

Man...we have to swallow our pride and offer Munchak a piece of the state just so he can move his family over here, all while on our knees the entire time. </sarcastic>

OMG we sure don't want to be embarrassed..

Sorry but your 2 decades late on "embarrassed"... Damn "embarrassed is 3 promotions better than were we really are, more like disgraced and incompetent ....
I want to see the best for this team and if it means getting on your hands and knees to improve than do it with out even a second thought. Screw embarrassed

As far as options what makes us the best 2-3 years from now is whats important not you being embarrassed.....Munchak gives us IMO the best opportunity to improve for what the market will have available to build on.......LOL " to build on " Something that isn't even in Ross's vocabulary ...

Don't know what level we've tried truthfully but considering Ross's level of basic football intelligence think he doesn't even have a clue of this significance and thus probably the standard dumbazz approach the Dolphins usually put out... He' and to many in here will or might get it on Denvers signing or possibly down the road him taking over in Pitt for Tomlin....

Oh Oh Tomlin lets go get Tomlin the next rant of insanity....
