Murphy a great pick?

And, of course, he fits the "character guy" mold that BP & Co are looking for. Like Beck, you won't have to worry about off the field issues with this guy.
 
Our line is going to be really good in a year or two!Im really happy with this draft.I would have rather kept L.Booker then drafted Parmele and im not sure im happy with Henne but atleast we have two young telented qb's.

i think our line will be good this year....Long will get into the NFL groove quickly and this kid will work with coach Sprano and be a mauling guard in a year or two. But we have an accomplished guard in smiley a versatile tackle in carey and an up and coming center in satele and long will be good from day one NOT GREAT but good and should round into form quickly. This kid will compete with our other guard Morimo and at least this year is depth we have seen the more depth and capable people you have on each line the better and now we are BEASTLY on both lines
 
definitely a positive scouting report. i'm glad that he's good in pass protection already. will have to work on his run-blocking skills though, but that's fine. sounds like his main problems are just being over-aggressive, which seems correctable. plus he's not that experienced overall at guard.
 
i think with the help of sorano this guy will be a starter within a year or two

This is why I take some of these scouting reports with a grain of salt. I'm not sure how you can rate someone who had 137 knockdown and 10 of the team's 14 rushing touchdown resulting blocks a 1 in run blocking.
