The Dolphins have studied and spent time with a couple of guys you may not have heard about. Connecticut's Cody Brown (pictured) is an athletic kid from South Florida that lit up the Big East with 11 sacks and 16 tackles for losses in 2008.

Also remember Cincinnati's Connor Barwin, which the Dolphins spent time with interviewing in Mobile.

Armando is correct in the assessment that Miami needs a FB. Lou Polite was money on short yardage, but that was it. He was a one dimensional guy. Miami went through a slew of one dimensional FB's last offseason/season (Mauia, Grigsby, Cramer, Polite). The Trifecta is looking for a FB that can do it all. Run block, get first downs on short yardage plays, play Special Teams, catch passes out of the backfield, etc.

Lousaka Polite was pretty decent last year blocking - I'd still think they'll try and upgrade though.
