Who wants to bleep Mutumbo!?!
 
Mutumbo is definetly one of my favorite players on and off the court. What a stand up guy!! I hope these youngsters pay attention to guys like Dikembe and Zo and others who do so much for the community and for the people of there hometown.
 
Dikembe has always helped others. A lot of guys in the NBA and NFL should take note. Share the wealth and stop playing the fool. :wink:
 
I always liked Mutumbo, especially in his 76ers days. I was rooting for him and AI against Shaq and Kobe. He is a stand up guy. This just adds to it.
 
Yea I be hearing guys like McGahee and Haslem throwing little celebrity games at there former high schools, which is cool and all and then having a big club party that night . . I mean it seems that they just want to draw attention to themselves . . while u don't hear about that with Mutumo, he is actually doing something to save lives and help better his homeland. 15 million, I mean that is truly amazing.
 
Thats what I hate you see all these athletes with millions of millions of dollars and they barely lift a finger to help.

Bill Gates does it, Ted Turner does it, lots of business owners sponsor one or two charities for causes they believe in. I think its great, and I think more athletes should do it. Not asking for a big donation, there is plenty they can do. They could donate once a year to cancer research or buy soccer balls for kids in Iraq something, anything, instead of just beefing up their houses so they look good on MTV cribs.
