OK....Just my opinions....But here they come:

1) Jeff Ireland must collect his checks every week with a gun and a mask. 4 years to find a Right Guard and you're not even in the ballpark?? I would say FAIL on our GM

2) If #1 isn't true then J.I. has Polaroid pictures of our owner naked with sheep and a tub of Vaseline. Michael Egnew in the 3rd round???? Really? How J.I. has a job really puzzles me.

3) I love Chris Hogan. Not because Hard Knocks told me to....But because I see a future star in this league. He sinks his hips on cuts expertly and plays with passion...Good measurables and good hands. If we don't keep him..... He will never make it to our practice squad.

4) I was not a big fan of drafting Ryan Tannehill. I really thought he was a younger Chad Henne. I am starting to come around on the kid. If he can speed up his decision making a tad and learn to look off a safety or two.... He might be the real deal. I realize he has VERY little help right now.

5) I cannot, for the life of me, point to a unit on this team and say they're ready for the regular season. I take that back.....Our punter and field goal kicker are ready. Other then that......I got nothing.

6) Richie Incognito looks REALLY bad so far this year. I think he should seriously start thinking about an MMA career. If he comes to Tampa, I'll help him with his BJJ.

7) From what I've seen so far, I'm predicting a 4 - 12 season. The only good news about that is, if it comes to pass, Ross just might fire J.I.

Once again...... Just my opinions. Thanks for reading.

I think you hit the nail on the head j/i must go now the longer you wait the longer its going to take to get on track we have been building a team to long and they look so bad except the punter and the field golds been watching dolphins for 30 plus year and i can say that i am a sad to say this is the worse i have ever can remember

Jeff Ireland needs to go. He can't draft worth a damm. Martin has bust written all over him. Its time to get a real GM in here that knows how to draft talent. The talent on this team is joke. Ross should have gotten rid of this clown when he got rid of the coach last year and started completely fresh like the Colts did. The best organizations in this league like the Packers, Ravens, Steelers, and Patriots seem to draft well every year.

No new system or new coaches are going to make up for a lack of talent. Jeff Ireland needed to be shown the door with that fat turd Sparano !!!

Care to opine on th RT performance last night?
Another example of a piss poor Ireland pick. Martin looked worse than Columbo last night and I did not think that that was possible.

I wish Jimmy Johnson had an interest in being the Dolphins GM. I think that is the last time that they drafted and signed some half way decent players.

I have to agree... Martin looked terrible. I understand he's making the switch to RTfrom a college career at LT and he probably doesn't have the strength he'll have next year. But he doesn't seem to be able to set his feet yet and get a good punch. I believe he'll get better as the year goes on ( How could he get worse???? ), But there were receivers there in RD. 2. J.I. simply needs to go.

If Jeff Ireland goes after this season, this team will be starting completely over again. That probably also includes a new head coach and a different direction at quarterback. Are fans ready to start over once again?

As much as some people hate Jeff Ireland, if the Philbin and Tannehill era has any chance of succeeding, Ireland probably needs to stick around. Once Ross fired Sparano and retained Ireland, it probably needs to be looked at as a clean slate. Perhaps Ireland doesn't deserve that, but more front office turmoil after this season will only continue to harm this franchise. If Philbin gets 3 years starting in 2012, so does Ireland. Might not seem right, but it is probably accurate.

Nubsy..... I really don't see an alternative. We'll have a ton of cap space and a high draft pick with a good young QB .... Honestly, it would be an enviable position to take. All I ask is that we finally bring in a GM that has done the job successfully before. As for a coach, I'm not very impressed with Philbin so far. I'm not saying he won't be a good coach..... But he hasn't done anything to impress me yet. Certainly, this team hasn't been ready to play in the first two preseason game. So a new coaching staff wouldn't kill me.

7 head coaches, 4 GMs(counting Parcells) and 2 owners in just 9 years. Who would want to come here when there hasn't been any stability in a decade?

This x a million. However, will the fanbase sit still if the Fins remain mediocre until 2015?

Ross needs to cut his loses. Like I said in another post, I use to be on Ireland side but it seems if this years crop of "All His Players" don't show some promise, he needs to go too. Like the poster said earlier, too many years have passed and for him not to get a RT, who is just as important as a LT to me, you should be fired. He hasn't found a RG either.

I am not sure how you can say this.

Miami has had neither the coaches or the players of late to be of significants or relevants in the afc east.ITs the GM's fault for all of this not just the coach.
