So here goes...Im banking on that the phins don't sign Thomas from Baltimore but do sign Stallworth from Philly and Davis from Arizona...I think Davis has some potential more then people know.

1.Brady Quinn - QB - Notre Dame - you all know him very well. Here is why he is the 1st pick at # 9.1st of all he is going to be a great Qb and 2nd this team does not know what they are going to get from Culpepper. As a organiziation they cannot wait around to see if he is gonna return to his old ways.So in drafting Quinn you have the future.I believe that this can only benefit the team and upgrade the position. For years now this team has gone thru Qb's last and right well now with this pick we would have our franschise Qb for the next 10-15 years. When a player like this comes around only once you just can't pass on him.

2.Ryan Kalil - C - Usc - I know i bet a few of you are wondering why no Lb or tackle at this position.Well in the case of Kalil what u have is the next coming of Dwight Stephenson just reincarnated.Sorta like Marino/Stephenson now u would have Quinn/Kalil.Those two would be the future and what you get in Kalil is the anchor of the OL.He would become the leader that this OL sorely needs and hasn't had for years. He is another guy who is to just too good to pass up on.

3.Earl Everett - LB - Florida - Would be a great addition to the Lb Corps that we need.Would be a instant starter in '07.Great in coverage and is very quick which is a added plus since we got no production from this position in '07 imo.

4.Lorenzo Booker - RB - Florida ST. - Would be a upgrade as our 3rd down back. Also could do kickoffs or punt return's as well.Great pass catcher and has great speed. This is something we do need.Speed is the main quality here. When was the last time this team did a screen pass and the rb toke off 60 yards down the field.Booker could be that guy for us.

6.Chris Denman - OT - Fresno ST. - at 6'6, 305 Denman is the real deal.Never hurts to have an extra tackle and could be a great backup and maybe be a insurance case for Davis.Great at run and pass blocking.Very aggressive and never quits on any plays.

7.John Talley - CB - Duke - He is 6'0, 188 and would be a steal if he was still there in the 7th round. He finished with 18 career int's and had a career high 7 this year.Pretty physical player and not afraid to take chances every now and then.Could be used in the dime where our cb's were very weak.

Well there you go.im sure there will be many gripes but i expect it.This is my 1st proble not my last 1 but this is just a rough idea.Thank you .....

This would be a great draft for us if it actually plays out this way. Getting Quinn, Kalil and Everett with our first three picks would be a MAJOR coup. All three are good enough to see significant playing time, if not start, this year.

I'm sorry, i don't want to tear this apart like this...but i feel it needs to be said.

With the news that the Texans are going to let go of Carr possibly, theres no way in hell Quinn falls past Cleveland, Minny, and Houston. It's just not gonna happen. So we're not gonna get Quinn.

Secondly, Ryan Kalil, much like Nick Mangold last year, will sneak into the first round. He's the best center in the draft, and the center position is the 2nd most important on an offensive line.

i agree...to have a chance to draft Brady Quinn we have to trade up.

I'm pretty much with you in terms of need, except that I don't think we need another RB as much as we need help at CB, LB and kicker. Therefore, I've got CB at #4 a LB at #6 and a Kicker at #7.

I agree, I don't think Quinn will be there. That's why I think the Phins should go with Brown if available. If Quinn and Brown are gone I think I would go with Kalil at #9. Yeah, that's probably a "reach" in the first round, but the guy has talent and would definitely help out our weak OL.

Saying Kalil is the next coming of Dwight Stephenson is pretty far fetched...DS is a HOF.

I prefer to go for an OT, someone like Staley, who may slip to the 2nd rd

Agreed on Kalil, but saying Brady Quinn is the next Tom Brady is a stretch. But be carefull. You just might get banned for suggesting so.

i want to address to points that were rasied.1st being that if we sign Stallworth there is no need for a Wr and the David Carr issue is very complicated.john Clayton a few nites ago on nfl live said it is going to take a sweet deal to get Carr.I seriously doubt a lot of teams are going to offer there 1st or 2nd rounders for him.It seems to me that they will hold on to him maybe draft a Qb like Stanton in the 3rd but that is what he said and that is where im going with this.Give the questions coming.

Earl Everett will not fall to the third i dont believe.......i have seen some mocks having him go 28 to New England in the first

Take a deep breath, bro. Houston has other needs, too. If they sign Plummer, don't be so sure of yourself. Cleveland has Frye and Derek Anderson, don't they covet Adrian Peterson? The Vikes head coach/head moron said no QB 1st round, then realized he showed his hand and retracted the comment. Uh, ok... He drafted/reached for Tavaris Jackson last year 2nd round and might stubbornly stick with him.

Kalil- darned good, but not exactly Nick Mangold, more like man silver... early second round sounds about right for him. The guy put together a nice mock, at least I think so, give him his props.
