This is with the latest draft order, and is solely done by me, and i am open to all comments good or bad. I didnt include any trades i thin could happen. In parenthesis is the other options i think they may go after.

1 - Oakland - JaMarcus Russel QB - Al Davis cant pass on the potential and superstar potential he see's in this kid. Quinn is the most NFL ready guy, but AL likes the star value he see's here. (Brady Quinn or Calvin Johnson)

2 - Detroit - Brady Quinn QB - Detroit has built a young up and coming D, and has all the skill positions full, but Kitna is not the answer. If Quinn is here they take him otherwise they may look @ Joe Thomas or trade down. (Joe Thomas or trade down)

3 - Cleveland - Adrian Peterson RB - Cleveland needs a solid runner for the future, and Peterson is the best RB in the draft. Romeo may like a Defensive guy here, but Peterson's talent is to good to pass up. (Calvin Johnson or Joe Thomas.

4 - Tampa - Gaines Adams DE - Tampa is stuck between a rock, and a hard place here as both there guys fall to them. They could easily grab Joe Thomas, and be perfectly happy, but Adams can come in, and give them the cap relief they need when they cut Simion Rice.( Joe Thomas)

5 - Arizona - Joe Thomas OL - Arizona has all the skill players they need, and only need a few pieces on D. They get the best OT in the draft, and get a solid Tackle who can play either side to protect Leinhart for years to come. (Leon Hall)

6 - Washington - Alan Branch DT - Washington's biggest problem this yr was here run D, and Branch is a big nasty who will come in, and make an immediate impact. (Leon Hall or Calvin Johnson)

7 - Minn - Calvin Johnson WR - Minn has huge needs in the secondary, but Johnson's talent is to good to pass on. (Leon Hall or Darrele Revis)

8 - Houston - LaRon Landry S - Houston is a very young team that needs help along the OL, and Secondary. There is no OL in this spot that will help as much as Landry so they take him, and sure up a weak spot on the team. (Leon Hall or Marshawn Lynch)

9 - Miami - Leon Hall CB - Miami has needs along the OL, LB, and DT, but Hall is a shut down CB that Miami needs. Could possibly trade down. (Quin Pit****, Frank Okam, Pat Willis)

10 - Atlanta - Reggie Nelson S - Atlanta needs help at WR and S. Nelson is a versatile guy who can cover, and help in the run game. (Dwayne Jarret or Darrele Revis)

11 - SanFran - Ted Ginn jr WR - San Fran has come along nicely since Mike Nolan has taken over, but like a big play WR, and Ginn will full the role in the offense and as a Kick/punt returner. ( Frank Okam or Quin Pit****)

12 - Buffalo - Quin Pit**** DT - Buffalo got a steal in McCargo, and need another big run stuffer to sure up the middle of the D. Marv Levy goes back to the ohio st for players again and grabs Pit****. (Frank Okam or Dwyne Jarret)

13 - St Louis - Michael Griffin S - St Louis always has the high flying offense, but a lack luster D. Griffin is addicted to the fball, and is always around it. ( Quinton Moses or Darele Revis)

14 - Carolina - Paul Posluszny LB - With the injury's to Dan Morgan, and his career in doubt John Fox grabs the hard nosed, big hitter that Morgan was, and finds the same in PUZ. (Pat Willis or Darele Revis0

15 - Pitt - Darrelle Revis CB - Pitt is strong on all fronts of the field, but lacks true depth at CB. McFaden is a solid guy, but Revis is a #1 CB for them. ( Quinton Moses or Pat Willis0

16 - GreenBay - Marshawn Lynch RB - Greenbay needs alot of help on D, but Ahman Greene is old, and Lynch is to good for them to pass up. (Daymeion Hughes, Pat Willis, or Quinton Moses)

17 - JAX - Marcus McCauley CB - The run on CB's stays hot, and Jax grabs McCauley to team with Rasheen Mathis to have to shutdown Corners for yrs to come.

18 - Cincinati -Pat Willis LB - In 2006 the Bengals were the most talented team not to make the playoffs. They lack discipline, and David Pollack's injury has diminished there D. With Odel Thurman returning, Bobby Simmons coming back, and Pat Willis they will have a dangerous versatile core of LB's ( Quinton Moses or Frank Okam)

19 - Tennessee - Dwayne Jarret WR - Tenn has been the surprise team in 2006, but Vince needs a weapon, and Jarret is big, and a playmaker so he gets the job done.(Sydney Rice or Jeff Samardjza)

20 - NYG - Antoine Cason CB - The giants have struggled greatly in there coverage this yr, and Cason may be the steal of this draft. He will be a solid CB next to Sam Madison next yr and eventually be the shutdown corner this team has been looking for (Sydney Rice or Sam Baker)

21 - Denver - Quinton Moses DE - Denver has used a hodge-podge of Cleveland Brown DE castoffs over the last few yrs, but need to upgrade here, and cant pass up Woodley's talent. Also could look for another WR. (Sydney Rice, LaMar Woodley or Frank Okam)

22 - NE Pats - Buster Davis LB - NE doesnt have any glaring needs, but there LB's are getting up there in age, and Davis is a heavy hitter who would fit the New England system perfectly.(Sydney Rice or Lawerence Timmons)

23 - Dallas - Justin Blalock OL - Blalock is versatile and has played both gurad, and tackle while at Texas. Dallas takes the home town guy, and hopes to solidify there weak OL. (Sam Baker or Levi Brown)

24 - KC - Frank Okam DT - Herm Edwards has improved this D, and is a defensive minded coach. Okam is a big body that can clog the run, and pressure the QB. (Tank Tyler or Tanard Jackson)

25 - New Orleans - Lawerence Timmons LB - They still need Help on defense to support there High flying offense, and Timmons is a tackling machine. (Rufus Alexander or Tank Tyler)

26 - New York Jets - LaMar Woodley DE - The Jets have addressed there OL and need help in the run game. Woodley is the hybrid type player that fits Mangini's D. ( Tank Tyler or Rufus Alexander)

27- Philly - Brandon Merriweather S - Andy Reid usualy addresses the Line early, but Merriweather is a big hitter, and Dawkins and Michael Lewis are aging with huge Cap #'s. (Aaron Rouse or Brandon Siler)

28 - NE - Marcus Monk WR - Monk has submitted papers to get his draft grade, and once he has his work outs will move up draft boards. Brady needs a true #1 WR, and Bellicheck will get him one. (Jeff Samardzjia or Sydney Rice)

29 - Indy - Tank Tyler DT - The run D in Indy has been attrocious, and Tank is a run stuffer who can come in and help immediately. (Brandon Siler or Aaron Rouse)

30 - Baltimore - Troy Smith QB - Steve McNair will not play forever. Smith can come in learn the sytem for a year or two, and be the QB that Bal has been looking for since this franchise has come about. (Levi Brown or Sam Baker)

31 - Chicago - Sydney Rice WR - I honestly think Chicago will trade down to the second round, and grab Drew Stanton, but for mock draft sakes Moose Muhammed is not a #1 WR. (Jeff Samardjia)

32 - SD - Paul Williams WR - Phillip Rivers needs another target, and this is Samardjia's spot, but due to the uncertanty of his baseball career he may fall. (Samardjia or Brandon Siler)

i will be back with round 2 in awhile. Feel free to agree, disagree, but this is just an early mock, and alot of underclassmen to still be determined. Brohm and Brennen could throw huge monkey wrenches into this if they declare.

I'll comment more when I read on it, but one thing that stuck out to me = Calvin Johnson @ #7? Hmm, that's interesting.......

I'll give you credit for being different. As someone whose said a few times that JaMarcus will end up being the most popular QB by the time the draft comes around, I can understand why you'd put him at #1. However, putting Johnson at #7 is a bit off. Tampa would take. Johnson is the BPA in this draft. of all positions. Cleveland would take him too.

Brandon Merriweather and LaMarr Woodley both in the first huh?

Again, im giving you credit on being different.

LEON HALL IS NOT A SHUT DOWN CORNER. DID YOU WATCH THE GAME TODAY OR THE MICHIGAN OHIO STATE GAME. WHAT THE HELL IS EVERYBODY's OBSESSION WITH LEON HALL

He's the 'best' CB in the draft. Thats really just not saying much though.

I think we need to go offense in the first...either LT, WR, or QB. Defensively we are getting older, but our secondary is young . We also may be able to pick up a guy in free agency. I would just like to see us get better on offense and we have definite needs at LT, WR and QB if Daunte can't get healthy.

Leon Hll did not stand out to me today against USC. It seemed as if he rarely covered Jarret and the one time h did he got burned adnd missed a tackle. After today's game I doubt Jarret falls that far, we may even take him depending on who's coaching the team. Saban? Who knows.

what round will troy smith go?

That IS the question...isnt it. Theres a lot of questions involving him.

He's had a phenominal season. However, we DO know that scouts dont put a lot of stock into what players have done in one season, or even at all in their college careers. It will really depend on what he acheives at the combine.

I hope we pick someone like Rufus Alexander in round 2. I know we need O-line, and I like Levi brown, but I think #9 would be too high. I know he's gone by Miami's pick in this mock, but Laron landry is the only pick that seems to fit at 9(based on available prospects in most mocks), unless Ginn declares(I don't like him, but his potential is crazy).

Turn your caps lock off.

One game determines how good a player is?

The Bucs would take Calvin Johnson and Brandon Merriweather is not a first round pick.
