Hats off for the win last night. I admit I was skeptical coming into the game and for large parts of the game it was frustrating to watch. In the end Tanny did a great job with a make up shift oline. Sacked 5 times but he still had a 114 rating. He has become the leader. He still can't hit a long pass but everything else he has gotten much better at. So we're 6 and 4 but lots of work to do. Next up Denver and it won't be easy. After last night 10 and 6 seems possible again but that might or might not be enough for the playoffs. For parts of the game we were looking for ways to lose but at last they found a way to win. We're gonna have to continue to grow as a team and learn to find ways to win instead of finding ways to lose the close games. We have some good pieces in place but honestly I think we're a very good iff season away from being legit contenders. Just my 2 cents.

I know but we need to be way more consistent. The whole first half our defense couldn't stop them till they were inside the 20......yes we held them to FGs but Denver and NE won't settle for that.

If we get to 10-6 and that includes beating the Ravens, and beating the Jets twice, we'll almost certainly make the playoffs. I hope.

This team is capable of anything.....the defense makes that possible.

Look at Seattle last year.

I disagree, it's going to take more evolution from Tannehill and consistency from the oline for this team to be capable of anything.

Sure the defense will keep us in most games, but we'll find ways to be unable to close games out, especially against the upper echelon teams (see Green bay and see Detroit).

What made Seattle special last year is watching Russell Wilson evolve at the QB position. He took the game management to a top tier playmaker level and really made smart decisions. Timely plays, timely scrambles, I guess you can say he out "chessed" defensive coordinators.

But Tannehill is definitely on the right track and he still could be hitting his best strides as the season wears on . . . no question next week @ Denver will be a "benchmark" game for this entire team (can Tannehill and the offense keep up in a shootout . . . can the defense get pressure to a QB who you can't beat unless you pressure).

If Tannehill keeps improving like he has from September, this team will be tough to beat.
