1st Jack Conklin MSU, finally upgrade oline BA's eventual replacement
2nd Kendall Fuller VaTech, address corner opposite Maxwell, injuy should cause him to drop from a first rounder
3rd Alex Collins Arkansas, probably wishful thinking hoping he drops this far I think he could be a stud starter in the NFL

I could live with the first 2 picks but i hate alex collins. My god i have never seen a RB pitter Patter his feet so much for a 4 yard run. Dude chops his feet 15 times befor he hits the LOS. That crap wont fly in the NFL and he runs with zero power. Was credited with some thing like 5 broken tackles in his last like 300 carries. Too soft

Conklin's a huge reach at 13 esp. when you consider he's not played guard. you can't think about replacing a solid starter when you have this many holes. LB. CB and DE are WAY more pressing needs than guard/swing tackle.

Ark players have not worked out really well in the NFL, there has to be a better back than Collins for them.

If this draft were to happen I would lose all hope and respect for Tannebaum/Grier. You can't panic because you need a guard. Still has the least value of position in game in top rounds

Fuller's a good player but 2 of 3 first picks should be defensive players

I'd be okay for sure with Conklin & Fuller. I'd go somewhere else in the 3rd though, not a huge Collins fan.

Collins is a tough player to judge IMO.

The way he manipulates defenders and gets them on there heels and than just burns right by them is a special talent. Especially at the speed he does it at.

It's obvious this is a dude who has a lot of reps carrying the ball throughout his life. He looks like he's playing at a different speed than everyone else on the field. He just looks very natural running the rock.

But the problem is he can't break tackles, isn't much of a blocker, not really sure if he has any receiving skills, and athletically you wish there was more. To me these are all issues that could keep him off the field in the NFL.

I think on a team with a real good qb and above average oline, he will do very well. On teams that don't have those things, I'm not sure.
