Given the strength of our schedule, and very slim chances of making the playoffs, here are 3 things I would like to see change right now, to build for a better '06:

1. Don't let Reggie Howard play another down. I don't care if we have to play a WR back there like NE did last year. This guy is flat out terrible.

2. See what Sage has got, while the games still matter. If you wait until you are 3-9 and then start him, you might not have a good understanding of what he is made of. He would have zero pressure at that point. I want to see what he can do while we're still in this thing.

3. Don't let the presence of Ricky in any way hold back the number of rep's R. Brown can get. I don't care if Brown has rushed 13 times for 9 yards. We have seen that rush #14 might be for 70 yards and a score. When he gets into the secondary he is a terror on wheels. I think ricky should get some rep's, but no more than 8 or so, per game. Make him your 3rd down back if need be.

Everyone seems to forget that Ricky is just as much a beast as Ronnie is when he breaks into the secondary. They didn't call him "Dreadlock Demon" for nothing

Well, that is kind of my point. We know what Ricky can do. Ronnie already has a couple of 50+ yard runs in very limited time. Ricky didn't do that in his first 3 years in the league. I feel we are selling R. Brown short unless we give him 20+ carries from here on out.

Neither one of them will be consistent if we can't get some respect in the passing game. As long as teams are putting 8-9 men in the box, our running game will struggle. I am extremely impressed with the way Ronnie has been playing this year. I think Ricky should get maybe 3-4 series a game and let Ronnie have the rest.

The main problem with our running game is our defense. Ill explain why, we get so far behind that it takes us out of our game plan, every game this year that the other team didnt score on their first drive, we won.

I like your points but to add to #2, if Sage doesnt work out THIS year is the year to experiment w/ Lemon and see if he can win some games. I'd love to see him in around week 11, let him play the Browns defense to attempt establish confidence and rhythm...

Why would we make RIcky a 3rd down back when Ronnie is a much better receiver?

The man has a point although Ricky isnt realy a slouch as a receiver either.

I wish that the Dolphins would pound the ball on the ground...

The defense would blitz more...

And the cheerleaders wore thongs...

I said that outloud, didn't I?

There is only two wishes that I wish for. One is for Brown to get the ball alot more then he is right now. The other one is sign a vet CB and make Howard sit for the rest of the season.

Agreed. A consistant QB would be nice too....

I don't agree, as good as Ricky is, Ronnie has rare power, that play the other night was Earl Campbell like.

1. Agree, if fact I rather bring in T-Buc or someone else to come in and sit him down, he's too much of a risk at this point to play.

2. I think Gus has one last chance at this starting job, anything else but a spectacular preformance against the Saints should have this team and fans begging for Sage.

3. Agree again, not only do we know Ronnie can break the big one (he's done it twice so far) but we know that Ricky isn't what he use to be regardless of how awful our O-line is. We have to maintain the run, stick to Ronnie and the running attack because the passing game (Chambers dropping balls, Gus's lack of accuracy and INT's, Booker injured) is failing we need to set up the pass more by running the football down the other teams throats, even more so as the game goes on because Ronnie has the ability to make the D tired later in the game.

Works for me.
