I'm no expert, I'm not claiming to be...though for the record, I made some pretty decent predictions last season. So in light of many proclaiming the season ended with today's loss I thought I would just throw this out there. I've went through and predicted where I think all AFC East teams will be finishing the season, I've tried to be as realistic as possible and have the least amount of homerism I can muster.

The way I see things going is mostly based on future opponents play thus far in the season, and maybe a little educated guess work, feel free to post your own versions of the list if you disagree.

I'll be honest in that I don't nessecarilly see us winning the division, however I should just state for the record I don't see the season ending for the following reasons...we have a decent chance at a wildcard spot, we currently hold the tiebreaker for our division, and with any luck those things won't matter because one more win in my prediction or one more loss in NE's and we take the division. Anyways tell me what you guys think, here's the break down:

1/3, PITTSBURGH preL (this game could be the one that breaks our playoff chances, but you never know…if they already have a lock on their spot they may chose to not play some starters, and being the final home game I think the momentum will be high especially if it’s for all the marbles, we did what we had to in NY last season, and I think this is going to be a similar situtation)

I actually see this happening. Exactly what I think.

Carolina and Tenn are playing much better now. The Carolina game is a short week on the road. I see 5-3 in the second half, maybe 6-2. I can't see 7-1. To many tough games/situations ahead. 10-6 won't win the division. It's going to take 11 wins to get a WC.

All I can say is that they better be able to stop the run because MJD and Chris Johnson have been BEASTS and there is no indication they are going to stop running the rock.

So you think that Miami is going to get a wildcard spot over SD or Cincy? SD owns the tie breaker so I think we are screwed there. Better hope denver loses quite a few games and SD wins the division. That leaves up realistically up against the Texans, SD/Den, baltimore, Cincy/Pitt for the 2 wild card spots. It is going to be very tough. We cannot lose another AFC game at all if we are going to have a realistic shot because while our divisional record is good, our conference record is in line with those other teams.

I like what I see in Miami but frankly they are to unpredictable. I do think they will go 5-1 in the division but they have shown to big a tendency to fall apart at times and the immaturity shows in far longer stretches than a winning team show.

Anything is possible, but realistically I don't see it. Probably 9 wins (which is a damn good season) and we need at least 11 for the division and 10+ for the wildcard. Unless there are some pretty big injuries out there its a longshot.

I agree its 100% possible we did it last year and this team can actually score this year. I doubt it though, I'd say 9-7.

BTW do we need to quote the whole half page of comments?

Sorry lol

I really don't see us losing to the Colts or Saints. Both their defense are suspect especially the Colts. I think we have a better chance losing in Miami.

were a 500 ball team...truth and i hate saying this but the jets have a better ball club then us right now. our recivers are horrible. o-line is regressing. no pass rush ! bad play calling. and no luck on our side like last year. as daffy duck would say...back to the drawing board

Okay, so you have us finishing second in the division which means we would have to be a wild card team. Problem is we are one or more games behind 6 teams right now in the standings for the wild card spots. We would have to leap frog over 5 of those 6 teams to qualify. Not likely...

I agree with the Colts. I have to go Saints because it is in the dome. Tough place to try and win.

10-6 won't cut it for the fins in my mind.

I believe the first wildcard either Pitts or Cincy will be 11-5 or better.
I believe San Diego will be 10-6 well guess what we lost to SD. 10-6 won't make the playoffs most likely, the fins would have to win out for a shot at a WC or the division title.

I don't see the Patriots being able to stop either the Saints or Colts offense. I think the Saints defense has a better shot of slowing down Brady and the Pats offense then the Patriots defense does the Saints offense. I see theSaints coming out and romping over the Patriots winning by double digits. I see the game vs the Colts being closer with both teams scoring over 30, but I believe the Colts will prevail.

I also see the Texans pulling an upset over the Patriots in the season finale. The Texans/Fins game will also be a close one, hard to imagine how the Dolphins defense is going to slow down that offense.

I see the Patriots finishing 10-6 losing to the Colts, Saints, Dolphins, and Texans. I see the Fins most likely finishing 9-7 losing to two of the following teams Panthers, Bills, Steelers and/or Texans.

Give me a break, this team doesn't need to go into the playoffs with these WRs. Why? We were embarrassed in the playoffs last season and it was humiliating leaving that stadium after such a poor performance.

The team has lost to virtually every playoff team in the last two seasons, obviously not ready.
