Remember, these are guys that are not popping up on the radar. Their Sleepers, so don't think the first pick is going to be the first pick in the draft. Right now we have 8 picks in the draft, so I'll be picking 8 players. The players are in the order of the value, I feel, that they have.

Patrick CB Lee Auburn 6'0" 201(exceptional athlete)
Ezra Butler OLB Nevada 6'1.5" 245(big hitter, aggressive)
Kevin O'Connell QB SDSU 6'5" 235(great all-around skills)
BJ Raji DT B.C. 6'1" 340(prototypical anchor in the middle)
Heath Benedict OT Newberry 6'6" 321(powerful, needs time to develop)
John Greco OG Toledo 6'5" 305(lunch-pail overachiever)
Jacob Hester RB/FB LSU 6'0" 228(wes welker II at Hback)
Kroy Biermann DE/OLB Montana 6'3" 246lbs(Winner of the Buck Buchanan Award, given to the nation's top Div I-AA defender)

Sorry, I don't understand how you can see any kind of correlation between Jacob Hester and Wes Welker, besides the fact that they're both white.

I like Patrick Lee and Heath Benedict. This draft is extremely deep in both CB and OL, so there's going to be a LOT of good prospects at those positions that slide down into rounds 3 and 4, and a bunch of less polished CB's to be had in every single round including the 7th. It's really a crazy deep CB draft. Everyone's talking about how deep this draft is at Tackle--and it is--but there could be as many as 20 starting CB's to come out of this draft, which is incredible.

Lets not go overboard here..more like 5-7 starters when its all said and done..possible special teamers and backups with the others.

idk could be closer to 10, I'll be surprised if 5 aren't taken in the 1st round alone that will all be starters then another 3-4 that will be there in the 2nd and third and then there's always the sleeper picks that will develop later.

Jack Williams at CB (kent state) is probably a bigger sleeper than Patick Lee.

Jabari Arthur (Akron) is my sleeper at WR, but Jerome Simpson from Coastal Carolina is up there too.

You have to factor in that a couple of those 1st rounders will bust...and about 75% of the 2nd rounders will be duds...so I think 5-7 is more realistic...

75% of second round bust? Any corner taken on the first would almost certainly be a first round pick any other year. This corner class is probably the best and deepest class the draft has ever seen.

I don't believe Jasper Brinkley isn't coming out this year, unless he changes his mind. He received a medical redshirt for the 2007 season.

I was unaware that he was going to rejoin the team, but after some checking you are correct. I'll have to revise the list.

They have different skill sets, but their passion and willingness to do what ever is asked of them to help the team is the correlation I see in them.

I agree, people always get worked up over the draft. Especially when it comes to depth, anytime somebody says there is a certain position that is deep its bound to be overhyped when its all said and done.

Look back a few years ago when WR was supposed to be incredibly deep. I believe it was when Roy Williams came out, most of those WR's were bust. That one cat at Jacksonville had a good season but wasn't heard from again. DJ Wood (or whatever his name was out of LSU I believe) was a complete bust, amongst others.

Remember the year with the QB's when Tim Couch was the number one pick. Seems like only D. McNabb was the only QB to come out of that pack.

5-7 starting CB's might end up being a bit high.

It all remains to be seen...but if the future reflects the past...about 75% of the 2nd round CB`s will be a wash...

Add Todd Blythe - WR (ISU) to your list.

He's tall at 6'5", runs great routes, and has amazing hands.
He single handedly won ISU a few games over the years with amazing catches...
And he was the bane of Iowa's existence! I'm glad he's gone!

Hester isn't fast enough to play rb in the NFL nor is he big enough to play fb. I like Benedict and Lee.
