The Saints gave up their whole draft for Ricky and they called him a bust when they could have selected Edgerrin James. Yeah we could have taken Braylon Edwards or Cadillac. But we had a crying need for a running back (with Ricky's situation) and Cadillac was a 205 pound guy (now 217) and there were concerns about his durability. How many people complained about the selection at the time? Actually most so-called experts proclaimed Benson as the best RB and i doubt he'll beat out Thomas Jones! (Thomas Jones was a top ten draft pick in Arizona and considered a bust himself!) Actually we have a crying need for an offensive line but there's only so much you can do in 1 year. The 2005 draft was very questionable in top tier talent and other than Edwadds or Williams, who should we have traded down to select? And by the way, the Bucs as a team, are running the ball well.
