I honestly believe this is how OUR team will shape up by puttin gtogether articles, information, Sr Bowl "talks" via other thread created and tendencies of our GM.

Unless THomas slips, miami WILL not draft a lineman as mueller was said that he doenst risk taking lineman unless they are rated number 1.

So my regards, i believe Mueller is SOLD on Ginn Jr. if he is on the board.

Round 1, Ginn Jr.

Round 2, will be a Safety like merriweather if he slips, Moses if he slips, woodley, spencer, stanton (or maybe somehow wait for the 3rd which i doubt because DC will get another shot due to only a 1.3 mill cap difference if we let him go comapred to a potential back to form MVP candidate and if not, i think Cam will stick with Lemon to be our QB as he is very high on him supposedly.)

We will address the O Line via FA. Dielman and Steinbach are possibilities especially if we let James go and maybe D mac to be back up (depending on alabis progress) and have Stein play LT b/c he is a way better P blocker hten a R blocker. he pretty much takes taht department pretty well compared to Dielman in the Pass blocking.

I believe we will address teh S spot via Draft and the OLB/WR spot via draft. the only spot left is MAYBE the CB spot. besides that we cover pretty good holes without putting any average players via FA b/c i dont know who those stop gaps would be.

Ginn at WR, booker gone.
a DE/OLB round 2, save money on briggs and thomas so that sets us up to spend it on a lineman.
LT and LG via those 2 SHOULD be possible as they wont come close to asking Steve Hutch money or evne bentleys money.

So we got a WR, a SOLB, a LG, and a LT. wahts left? maybe SS you say? possibly round 3. WOLB once CC becomes MLB? round 3. DE? round 3.

this opens up MANY MANY options and fills a lot of holes. I actually think it should work out pretty well.

I used to think a speed WR like Ginn, but I don't anymore. I know Mueller's looking for one, but I suspect he might take a run at someone like Duante Stallworth, who he originally drafted rather than take a risk there (and as much as I like Ginn, he is a bit of a risk).

I see defense in round 1, unless they trade down.

i say Ginn b/c he wants someone that he said STANDS Out with speed and capable of chanign the game. Ginn can do that. Stallworth i dont think so. He is fast but on fly patterns not Slants, PR, KR, possible CB, deep ball, rverses, screens, decoys ect etc.

That would be nice but,
I dont think Ginn is worthy of the #9 overall, and I really dont think we need a safety. I would like to see the LB spot and OL figured out in the first two rounds...

I really hope we dont draft Ginn. Just because a guy is fast is not enough of a reason to draft him that high. I question his toughness after he didnt return in the championship game. He should have come on the field even if he was hurt, they could of used him as a decoy.

hell draft defense first

I think we'll head into the draft with a list of 4 or 5 guys and just see how the top 5 pans out and re-assess from there..

No point pinning ur hopes on one or two guys and watching them go elsewhere, then having to make a quick decision.

I think Higgins may be our burner speed guy later in the draft over Ginn. Ginn just isn't a good value at the #9 spot. There are too many speed WR busts to take a chance on him. Examples being: Ashlie Lelie, Troy Williamson, Stallworth. Drafting a WR in the first round is risky business.

How many threads about Ginn are you going to start? Vary it up a little.

I am where I was this time last year. I think we need DBs. I would like to see a Safety or Corner back. I beleive that is a very big need. Now I'm not sure there is one worth a number 9 pick, but I think that should be a top priority.
As far as our O-line, I think FA would be the first place to start, then draft one or two in later rounds with hopes to develope them. I think a LB and WR could come after that.

Being a Homer, I'd love to see us use a third or so on Jason Hill from WSU. He looked good durring th senior bowl. He was regarded as a first round pick going into he season, and me going to most of the home games, saw him have an injury plaged season. He could be a steel. That would leave us the first two rounds to look on the other side of the ball

I say Ginn and hope he doesnt drop all the balls that hagan did!!

I don't follow your logic. You say Mueller isn't sold on taking an O-Lineman if he isn't rated #1, and use that as evidence that he's sold on Ginn? There are plenty of non O-Line positions other than WR...
