Special teams.
Between Wes's fumble on the first punt and the long returns, I think special teams may need the most work. Especially the return coverage. Its horrible!!!
 
we are usually stand outs when it comes to st.we will get it right before the season starts im not to concerned
 
I do agree that work needs to be done on special teams and I am sure Saban will get that corrected....In tonight's game we dominated the whole first half other than the botched fair catch by Wes (still love you Wes) and the kick off returned for a TD....We will be just fine....
 
That has bothered me as well. They really need to pull it together before the season starts.
 
harris didnt even try on that last punt return..he was just jogging(or as some say "Yogging"), which isnt something that will win the coaching staff over, but luckily barnes got him
 
It's called corrective training. Smoke their ***** until their muscles fail.

Don't worry about the Wes fumble. That is something that you will rarely see. But there are some concerns about the tackling tonight on special teams. No doubt!! They may have been only giving half effort since it is preseason.
 
Well so far we have improved in areas that hurt us thus far in preseason. We didn't give up any long td passes. Now saban and co need to get special teams ready for the season. Their play tonight is not acceptable, it blows.

I agree out of my special teams concerns, Wes is at the bottom of the list.
 
The last 2 games our ST looked very good. I'm not worried. It looked like they were playing a lot of guys who will probably be cut just trying to see if they could produce on ST before they cut them. I don't know if that is the case but I am definitely not worried about the special teams.
