My contact was released by the Dolphins yesterday. He thought he was safe after the major firings when Parcells was let go and was initially offered a position with the stadium. But, yesterday he was let go after more than 20 years with the team spanning from his junior year in high school.

Obviously, he is devastated.

20 years is a long time with an organization, sorry to hear about your friend. Hope he lands on his feet again soon.

That REALLY sucks bro.

I don't care about the "insider" aspect but it really kills me to see someone that has worked with an organization that long get kicked to the curb.

Coaches and players are one thing as that's the nature of the game but an employee with that much tenure should certainly be able to expect better after he's proven himself that long.
 
Sorry to hear for your friend....hopefully he finds a better job that he likes as much.

I'm very sorry to hear about your friend. That's a horrible way to be treated after 20 years of employment. I'll pray for him.
 
sorry about your friend. 20yrs is a long time. Now watch, he will end up getting a job with the Patriots and he will come back to us and haunt us!
