I will admit I want us to trade down as much as posible and aquire more picks but if we are to keep the top pick I have two scenarios I would not mind playing out.

1-Matt Ryan Qb BC -Get it out of the way with the best Qb prospect in draft
2-Sam Baker LT USC- would prefer Williams but he seems to be rising,Good prospect for LT here.
2-Antoine Cason CB (Ariz) We find our other starting CB in the second
3-Shawn Crable OLB (mich) an actual LB to play LB and may be able to play inside in our 3-4 if needed.
4-Adarius Bowman WR (ok st) Very versatile receiver that had a bad time but was productive.
5-Comp-Jermichael Finley TE (Tex) very talented player who came out early
6-Kendell Langford DE (Hamp) Versatile guy who may be able to play OLb
6-Comp-Cody Wallace C-G (Tex Am) Good depth on OL with starter potential
7-Marcus Thomas CB (okla)
7-Comp-Roderick Johnson ILB( Okla St)

Other route
1-Jake Long LT(Mich) starting left tackle right off the bat
2-Sam Baker T (USc) If Williams is there take but if not play at guard
2-Andre Woodson QB (ken) First round level talent , has all tools
3-Shawn Crable OLB(Mich) Need linebackers and could be starter
4-Charles Godfrey CB (Iowa) Raw Cb with alot of potential
5-Comp-Jermichael Finley TE(Tex)
6-Kendell Langford DE (Hamp)
6-comp- Adrian arrington WR(mich) solid late prospect
7-Marcus Thomas CB (okla)
7-comp- Roderick Johnson ILB(Okal St)

Also this would be nice with some minor changes
in 2b pick choose Lawrence Jackson DE could also play OLB in 3-4
still take Crable in round 3, take highest rated QB left in fourth round and move all draft picks down slot

so where's Chris Long,he is the best choice at #1 we don't NEED a QB

why would we blow our first two picks on Tackles? we have Vernon Carey who is a top RT in the league. Sam Baker is not a good OT for us, he's ideal for a zone blocking scheme, but not much else. I love Cason, but he needs to be taken with the 1st 2nd rounder or he wont be there. I like the crable pick. Bowman is ok, but i prefer Hubbard from Wisconsin. Secondary needs more than one pick this draft (unfortunately)

Baker has played some guard before and Long would play LT.
I agree secondary needs more than one pick but we only have so many picks
I actually thought aboout and made marcus Thomas a late pick. He never lived up to his high school hype but he has potential at this level.

Where do these 5th round comp. picks come from? I didn't think they'd been announced yet, and I am guessing a 6th will be our highest, and that we only get a 6th and a 7th. Maybe 2 7ths if we're lucky.

I like the 2nd one with Chris Long 1st instead.

Some pretty unrealistic falls there, but if it happens, then great. But ya, not 5th compensatory. Probably just a 6th and 7th.

I dont like the following "fits: Andre Woodson and Sam Baker. Just dont think they a) fit Parcells and Ireland's prototype or b) arent good fits in the schemes we run. I think Bowman could probably be had later than that, but I like the pick. Big deal if he cant run a 4.4, the guy has been a productive player, and would be a solid pick. Kendall Langford, if anything, is a 3-4 DE. I really like Crable and Cason, but dont see them being there at those spots ... Especially Cason. A guy I like for the top of the 2nd (or end) is Patrick Lee of Auburn. Also, instead of Crable there, perhaps Cliff Avril.

Would Braden Albert, the guard from UVa, be gone by the time we pick at #32? If he's still there, get him there. Of course, Chris Long at #1 as well.

Albert will be gone and I prefer Williams but he will be gone.
I'm against Long at number one we have much bigger need on the oline and Long is so much better than anybody that will be there at 32. I think Jackson from USC can be as good as Long in the NFL.

I think the falls are not that unrealistic allthough Cason may not fall that far.

I agree with you on the comps, this was based on one person's comp preedictions that is usaually pretty right. I think we get one 6th and an extra seventh personally.

as bad as our line was adding two good linemen cannot be bad lol

yea i agree i think JT will be gone in the next couple years so we might as well fill that postion now with a player that IMO will be a great one

We need a LT now so why not take one over what we will need.
