With the Jake signing, my dream draft now looks like this for Saturday:

1) Jake Long, OT, Michigan

2a) Quentin Groves, OLB, Auburn

2b) Justin King, CB, Penn State

3) Martellus Bennett, TE, Texas A&M

4) Beau Bell, ILB, UNLV

6a) William Franklin, WR, Missouri

6b) Jack Ikegwuonu, CB, Wisconsin

7a) Chris McDuffie, OG, Clemson

7b) Frank Morton, NT, Tulane

Groves could easily be gone, so in that case I would swap out him for Antoine Cason and take Lawrence Jackson or Cliff Avril instead of King at #57. Also, I love John Carlson and go back and forth between him and Bennett all the time. I think Carlson has Parcells written all over him, but Bennett seems like he could be something special, IMO.

def one of the better ones I have seen. remember we are still looking for a LG though.

That's where McDuffie comes in. (BTW, anyone who is confused about that McDuffie pic, I couldn't find a good one with the #68, but that was him in his sophomore or freshman year, when he played on the defensive side of the ball and wore the #91.)

The only request I have is for you to throw in another guard in the later rounds, but I really love the back to back picks of Bennett and Bell. Those are two quality players that fill specific needs for our team. Good job!

I could live with that draft, although personally I'd rather target a CB or ILB at 2a. But hey you covered your King pick at CB with Ikegwuonu at 6b so I like that thinking.

I would like to see more emphasis on offense in the early rounds. If we still have Taylor during the draft, I don't think we will pick Groves at all. I like your picks but would prefer about a 90% focus on offense, particularly with at least 3 if not 4 picks on the OL.

Quentin Groves heart problems make him too risky... what a shame, he was a real talent... i wish him the best.
