#1....Brady Quinn QB
#2...Steve Smith WR
#2...Michal Griffin SS
#3...MerriWeather CB

What you all think

Griffin and Meriweather wont go past 10th pick of the 2nd round. Take Quinn, then Meriweather, and adress o-line.

A. Meriwether is a FS
B. he might not make it past the first round let alone the 2nd!!

he plays both

I know but for us he'd be a FS our CB spot is crowded as it is and we need a ball hawk at safety, hill is decent but he just doesn't have the ball skills free safetys need imo

Trade out of the 1.09 with St Louis and pick up an extra 3rd take

Greg Olsen
Anthony Gonzalez
Drew Stanton
Merriweather
Michael Bush

no way merriweather is gonna be there in the third, there is a good chance he isn't there in the second but i like quinn and griffin but i haven't seen a lot of steve smith. But ill sure as hell like him if he can hold on to the ball.

then we trade one of our 7ths for reggie bush and a pick next year

Chances are we aren't getting Quinn without losing one of those first day picks. And you also didn't adress the OL at all. Even though it would be amazing for those guys to fall, I'd be pretty upset that we drafted 0 OLmen on the first day.

My ideal mock

1. (Move to #6) QB Brady Quinn Notre Dame
2. OG Justin Blaylock Texas
2. (To washington)
3. OT Doug Free N. Illinois

I assume Quinn is gone by 9......

9. Levi Brown OT Penn State
40. Justin Blalock OG Texas
60. John Beck QB BYU
71. Brian Robison DE/OLB Texas

I would even fo as far as to draft Josh Beekman OG Boston College in the 4th. This OL has needed an infusion of youth for years and we fail to do so every year. Beekman is a typical BC OG in that he isnt spectacular at anything but he is solid at everything. Couple those three with Carey and Hadnot and you could be looking at a VERY good OL maybe as soon as next year.
