1) Fire the entire staff (except for Rizzi) from Tannebaum on down.
2) Hire John Harbaugh, McCarthy, or an up and coming college coach ready for the pros.
3) Hire Bowles as DC, hire the Rams/Chiefs/Pats/Saints/Eagles assistant OC (or quarterbacks coach) as our new OC - how do you score points, you hire a guy from a team that scores points.
4) Bring in Teddy Bridgewater as your one year QB.
5) Move up in the draft and take Dwayne Haskins or Justin Herbert.
6) Cut Branch, Tannehill, Amendola, Parker, Butler, Jones or McDonald (but not both).
7) Draft offensive and defensive lineman in rounds 2, 3, 4, and DB's the remainder of the draft.
8) Trade for a top 10 CB or a hire a top free agent CB.
9) Bring in another TE that can block and catch.
10) Re-sign Juwan James.
11) Mandate that Gesicki and Harris gain at least 20lbs each during the offseason - even they show no promise after next year, cut them both.

What do you guys think?

It’s a dream alright because Miami doesn’t have 15 draft picks. Also:

- John Harbaughs not leaving
- you cannot cut Jones
- why cut Butler?
- Harris doesn’t need weight but strength might help.
- you cannot move up I’m the draft AND use picks in rounds 2 and 3.
- how can you trade for a top CB? What are they giving up?

Other than that, good plan...

You're all over the place here. First, you can't move up for a QB and still have picks for all the other spots you want fix. Then you also want to trade for a top 10 corner. Trade up with what? You also can not cut Jones because of the huge cap hit(over 23mill if you cut him)plus you want James back which would cost at least 11mill a year.
Harris can't get to the QB in time but you want him even slower.
Gesicki could get bigger which would also take away speed. If you want a better blocking TE you just use Smythe and O'Leary.

If you move up in the draft you won’t have a second or a third

True, but Herbert is projected to be there for us without moving up - so maybe this is the best move.

Everyone says this QB draft is weak but Haskins is very talented to me as well.

…or we suck for Tua, Fromm, Eason (not a big fan - he is soft), Trevor Lawrence, etc...

1) Harbaugh / Ok
2) If we can't cut Jones, we need to trade him - I feel that he is now mentally checked out - let him go win elsewhere.
3) Butlers ok, but I think he's a JAG
4) I want Harris gone, I'm just trying too give the guy a chance - he sucks. Just thought the weight could help him.
5) Not sure who we could trade to be honest. Sometimes dreams don't fully work out.

I’ve heard that Herbert is one weird dude. Kind of like Cutler.

  • Can't move up and still have picks. Gotcha.
  • We can keep Jones, I like him - I just don't think he wants to be here anymore.
  • I'd like to keep James along with Tunsil, but the kid isn't all-world - so if he goes, I wouldn't cry.
  • Harris either needs to get stronger (bigger) or quicker. He can't get quicker, so I chose bigger. if he can't get bigger/stronger - we need to cut him. His spin move sucks.
  • Gesicki sucks, I'd like to see if added size would help - but if not cut him - horrible pick honestly. I like both Smythe and O'Leary.

Whatever our plan is -- it needs to be HONEST and not another short term duct tape and chicken wire
30+ fatty OG & "hope" Thill can get 'er done & bank on a number of tiny tots & unperformers like
Miss Parker -- et cetera!
