There are some VG options to fill our needs in FA to set up our draft. After looking at all options, this is my shopping list.

OG- Franklin is the perfect choice but, will b pricey. Boing from Cinci looks to e #2, VG run, average pass giving up 2 sacks, 8 hits ad 10 hurries. Franklin is y #1 target.

DT- Fairley, Knighton, and Williams will all work with keeping Odrick.

CB- Jackson, Culliver, Moore, and Flowers all work for me.

S- McCourty is a long shot, Gipson from Cleve is 2nd, with Landry 3rd.

MLB- McCain, Spikes and no one else.

RB- Gore, Bradshaw, and Ingram look to be our best options.

I believe that we could hit on around 4 of the above players, which would set up the draft very nicely.

Every time I see Brandon Spikes mentioned as an option I get very angry...get off of the PFF ratings dude...he's garbage.

What about David Harris. Tannebaum drafted him in New York and from what I saw, Harris had a decent season in 2014. I think he would fit to improve the middle of our defense...sure tackler...

I'd be stoked if we got somehow manage to land Franklin and Knighton. But if an above average instead of elite guard is possible... guy from cinci?? I wouldn't be mad about getting him and any 3 of the DT's. Odrick needs to understand- he's just not that good. Come back for a fair deal while we get a better, bigger DT to help you out...

CB- not sure who is the best fit, Jackson or maybe Culliver...

S- I'd be pumped to get McCourty but no way he slips away from NE. Gipson is an up and comer right? Maybe... I'd resign Delmas to a prove it deal no doubt about it; even if we got someone else.

LB- McClain is the only one I'd want of those 2 options..

What about WR options southbeach???

What do you think about Harris from NY? I believe he's gonna be 31 this next season but with how crappy the draft is at MLB's and really no one else available through FA what else are you gonna do? Trot Misi out there again. No ****ing way. I'd rather have a declining Harris than any option we threw out there this year.

Or, you could let Odrick walk, cut Starks and with that $ sign Suh while going with the younger DT's already on the roster.

Not a lot of options but I would rather play Misi at Mike than bring in Brandon Spikes. If I were an OC in the league and I see Brandon Spikes playing the Mike in a 4-3 I would destroy that guy in the passing game...just have him matched up on a TE or a RB on repeat and whoop his butt till he started to cry.

As far as Harris goes I'm not sure. A lot of these ILBs who play in the 3-4 struggle in the 4-3 because they don't play as well in space...that gets masked when you don't have to cover as much field in the 3-4.

Spikes is a 2 down MLB, and not to be used on passing downs. He is an upgrade on the run, and no other better options I see. Who do you have?

I haven't got around to studying the free agents yet, but already know I dont like anyone from the free agent CB class. Flowers is even smaller than Grimes, and we really need a CB that has a different skill set imo. Any CB we sign is going to be overpriced. Its a premium position with not many starting caliber free agents. Buyer beware.

gipson shredded his knee late in the season...

if you got franklin and knighton and a corner i think that's all you could ask for...although that corners gonna be pricey and probably not worth the price tag in the end

Do you think opposing teams will cooperate with that bit of information? Hey guys Brandon Spikes is out here so we should run the ball on first and second down so it's fair...he's just a two down linebacker, it wouldn't be right to throw on 1st or 2nd down with him in the game...yeah right lol.

You think Bill Belichick, who had that clown and let him go because he was that bad, wouldn't be licking his chops over seeing Brandon Spikes in the middle of our defense? Maybe you should ask Buffalo when they faced New England's 1st team for the entire game and gave up 37 points to the Pats.

the other thing is if you do get franklin knighton and a say top 5 free agent corner be ready to shell out $100 mil in contracts...cause if it's not that its gonna be damn close all told for all 3

McCourty's a 2-time All-Pro and coaches have put a ton on him at FS, playing him single-high a lot. Would command good $$ on the UFA market.

With Patriots signing Chung, worth mentioning there's been no recent movement on S Devin McCourty. Could be destined for the franchise tag.

I think this is why Brady restuctured....McCourty won't be leaving.

Just reading the tea leaves I don't think Odrick will be back, but thought that about Starks so guess you never know.

Rather not sign Spikes either.

It's going to be up there. We are going to need a corner. I just don't feel great with having to rely on Will Davis, or Jamar Taylor as one of the starting corners. Granted, Taylor was decent in the starts he got, but still.
