im no draft guru and this is the first time i try this sooo here goes

round #1 = Ted Ginn jr. (WR) we need a receiver that can fly and personally im tired of waiting of chambers to do anything

rd. #2 = Joe Staley (OT) we need a real LT and Staley looks very promising

rd. #3 = Trent Edwards or Drew Stanton (QB) id prefer Edwards over Stanton though he does have durabilities concerns but ive read hes a very smart athletic qb

rd. #4 = Paul Soliai (DT) we need a young physical nt for Capers 3-4 def.

rd. #6 = Brian Smith (LB) = i dont know if he'll last this long but id be great if we could pick him up here

rd. #7 = Matt Trannon (WR) = big fast possesion receiver that will complement ginn nicely

Looks like it could be a pretty good draft. Didn't Trannon suffer from various injury problems this past season?

Waiting for Chambers to do something? You mean like when the Dolphins had somewhat of consistent play at QB in 2005 and he made the Pro Bowl that kind of something?

Chambers imo is average at best we need a #1 wr

I'm not disputing that we may need a #1 wr. I'm just saying that Chambers has shown something when the play at qb is consistent. Even as bad as Gus was at times in 2005, he did get the receivers the ball at the right time.

however, getting that wr in the 7th in such a reach...

no one is going to find another colston that late.. i feel you though..

but we may need to go abit more defense ...except for that wr...which is something i totally agree with.( but is Ginn a bonafide #1? thaTS a tough call, we may need to go w/ jarret if hes there, either way whomever we draft is risk, and ginn is a playmaker/burner..so I do like.

CC is good, but not a #1...he reminds me of alvin harper...without irvin to take away all the attention..tons of speed, potwential, but cant quite get it going to be a top notch money dominant wr in this league...

With trade rumors going on with the raiders trading their 1st round pick to the Falcons for Vick, theres a possibility Russel and/or Quinn will be available .. if so we needa take one of those Qbs..probably not gonna happen
Levi Brown has been playing really well in the senior bowl practices and may be a good pick at the 9th spot
Ginn will never be a #1 reciever, hes not big enough.. hes got insane amount of athletisicm but will never be able to go against a #1 corner who will be bigger and stronger than him.. If you want a guy like Ginn, look at Johnnie Lee Higgins from UTEP, the guy runs a 4.27/40!!!! He was 3rd team all american. just didnt hear to much about this guy cuz hes on UTEP with the guy that throws way too many interceptions (Jordan Palmer)

What do you mean Ginn is not big enough to be a #1? Marvin Harrison is 6'0" 180 and Torry Holt is 6'0" 190. Plus Ginn is much faster. While I don't think Ginn will be a #1 wr in the league, atleast for a couple of years, it won't be because he's too small.
The only difference between Ginn, Jr and Higgins is their abilities in the return game.

That trade won't happen. It can't happen. No owner/organization could be that stupid. Michael Vick hasn't maintained his first overall grade since being drafted.

ginn does'nt have to be our # one receiver to be worth the 9th pick,,reggie bush will never be the # one running back and look what sean payton gets out of him,,in todays nfl a player with ginn's abilities can do so much for your team,here's some examples of what this kid could bring to our team,

1}Will be a good if not great receiver.

2}His speed will stretch the defense so ronnie can run all over defenders.

3}his speed and ability will open things up for the other receivers as well.

4}defensive cordinators will have to spend time gameplanning against him

5}could be our version of REGGIE BUSH,Line him up all over the field,even in the backfield on some occasions,did you see reggie take the swing pass for 6

6}for the first time in this organization's history,,a player that can take a five yard hitch route to the house.

7}for the first time in this organization's history,,an explosive punt and kickoff returner.

8} create great field position for our offense.

9}excitement for our fan base

10} am i missing anything

To me thats some pretty serious value at the 9 position,watta you think.

If we went WR, I would rather get Bowe or Jarrett then Ginn personally, but whatever floats your boat.

We could trade back a few spots and swipe Bowe I would be happy.

yes if Jarrett were there, but i think Jarrett would be gone by pick 9. but if
Jarrett were there id be torn b/c i luv Ginn's speed and big play ability but i also like Jarretts size.

as for Bowe i think at 9 its to early for him if we could some way trade down and get him i would not mind that either, but we cant trade any further down than NE b/c he wont get past them
