1- levi brown lt penn state. I would love to have Either Brady Quin or laron landry if they fall, but doubt they do and thats why they take best available player and position of need.

2- robert macheam wr tennesse- With so many good recievers on board this yr you could see possible see CJ, Ginn, Bowe, ans Jarrett all do before him, and he falls us.

2b- Lamar woodley de/olb michigan- will fall because of average performances at combine/pro day but will be a solid impact player at the next level.

3- josh beekman og boston college- big strong mean smart.. all describe this guy. Could make push for guard position right away, or if not top interior backup.

4- Ben Patrick,TE,Delaware - would be a great pickup in the fourth and could earn some playing time soon and would definitely be atleast the second tight end , if not starter by midseason.

I like the first three picks. Beekman would be a good pickup except that the Phins really need an upgrade at C and they have nobody at LT. Not sure about the TE pick.

this works only if we take carr cuz we need a QB.

LOL, people think Kalil is a dream at 40 . . . no wayyy Meachum is there at 40. Some have him going top 20. Still dont' think Levi is a LT . . . but I'm intrigued by Beekman . . . as far as TE, if its not Olsen or Miller than I doubt we go w/ another prospect . . . we already have Radar and Martin . . . we need a guy who can a number 1 not compete with them for the number 2.

Meachem isn't leaving the 1st round. My mock would look similar considering Brown is on the board and Quinn/Landry are off.

1 - Levi Brown OT
2 - Marcus McCauley CB
2 - Jason Hill WR
3 - Josh Beekman OG
4 - Troy Smith QB: say what you want, this guy was nothing less than a playmaker in college, and I don't even think he'll last till the 4th, but if he does...

I think Beekman can play center also.

I like your mock better and it's more believable

Not bad, but I think one 2nd round pick or our 3rd will be a QB if we don't get Quinn in the first.

I agree, if stanton is there at 40 we had better nab him.
He will be good.

I like levi brown, and I would think that houck could do good with him, but I have heard a lot lately that we aren't taking him. Maybe it's a smokescreen maybe not.... I wouldn't be upset at all with landry. HE's a future probowler and a freak on top of that.

I am interested in dwayne bowe as well as meachem, I just think that unless we trade down, we won't get either of them, AND a qb.
It's going to be one or the other in the 2nd I think.
but you never know......

Meachem should be gone. We would be lucky to land Sidney Rice at that spot. Also, Lamar Woodley is actually rising now and probably won't be there at the bottom of the 2nd. His last workout was apparently much better than previous ones, and he is starting to move back up in Round 2.
