My greatest fear for the Dolphins...

I am scared to death that the Dolphins will play like crap until they are completely out of playoff contention then put together just enough wins to royally screw up our draft and keep Sparano & Ireland around. I wake up in a cold sweat worried about this! I haven't given up on our team and we do typically get better a few games into the season but good Lord, we are a hot mess right now. BTW, I am so happy that Vontae ran his big mouth as he truly inspired two of the better offenses in the league to stomp our guts out...thanks, A-Hole! :hclap:
 
Looking at their SCHEDULE FROM WHAT I FEEL THEY ARE IN LINE FOR 1-2 WINS beating KC and maybe denver
 
I still think that we are a 6 to 8 win team and that makes me sick. If you aren't going to at least challenge for the playoffs or set the team up for success next year then every win really hurts.
 
Sparano can't save himself without making the playoffs... However, they could eff up draft position...
 
dont worry dude, the way things are looking, we are going 0-16 and sparano and ireland will surely be fired.
 
I would honestly rather go 0-16 and clean house (with the 1st draft pick), rather than going 5-11 at best.
 
I agree completely. And even if he gets fired, I am still afraid that Ireland will stick around to grab more mediocre players...and choose the next coach. That could mean a very long time being crappy...but just good enough to keep his job...
 
I wouldnt worry about it too much. They arent winning anymore than 5 games tops which is enough to get a new regime and either Luck or Barkley.

No crap, I want to win too but I would still take 1-15 over 6-10...it just works out a whole lot better for us in the end. Now, with that being said, I would be much happier with 10-6 and a first round loss in the playoffs but that just isn't going to happen this year. My homerism has nearly been cured and I am seeing this team with realistic eyes - painfull as it is - we suck!
